Re: What are your political and ideological influences?

I came to my current beliefs regarding politics late in life and I am certainly not as well read as most of you. I think Charles Darwin and evolutionary thought, particularly selection, had a lingering influence over me since I began to believe it was better to legislate for the benefit of my people and my race (regardless of where that legislation originated) rather than for capitalistic gain or even individual freedom or any of the other issues proposed by either the right or left in this country.

Cool Re: What are your political and ideological influences?

Everything I have ever known about, experienced and imagined has influenced me in some way, some more than other of course. My first influences are history and fantasy.

Fantasy/entertainment like Star Wars (movie), The Adventures of Zelda (video games), Starship Troopers (movie) and even Star Trek (television shows), not to forget comics. I'm sure it may seem odd or even ridiculus to some to mention such sources of influence but that might be just hypocrisy as I promise you every person in every possible time in human history has been influenced by tales, entertainment and fantasy/myth. Telling tales is one of the oldest form of entertainment in the human world. If you wish to understand this better I reccomend reading works by C.G. Jung and J. Campbell.

After fantasy/myth history influenced me. Especially historical civilizations like the Roman Empire, medieval Knights and modern combat warfare. Later I came to learn of the Third reich, National Socialism and Adolf Hitler.

Name-droppings of some things (myth/fantasy or history) which have interested and influenced me is following not in any special order.

    Persons:
    J. Christ
    Darth Vader
    Luke Skywalker
    Heinrich Himmler
    Óðinn
    Adolf Hitler
    King Arthur
    Parsifal
    Alexander the Great
    Julius Evola
    Mao
    Savitri Devi
    Miguel Serrano
    Francis Parker Yockey
    Guido von List
    Jörg Lanz v. Liebenfels
    Plato
    Aristoteles
    Nietzsche
    Oswald Spengler
    Colin Jordan
    William Pierce
    George Lincoln Rockwell
    Troy Southgate
    Limonov
    Dugin
    Joseph Göbbels
    Political:
    National Socialism
    Fascism
    National-Anarchism
    National-Futurism
    Juche
    Primordial Traditionalism
    Communism & Capitalism
    Religious/mythological:
Aryan paganism; Norse/Icelandic, Greek, Indian, Celtic, Roman.. etc.
Various cults; Order of the Process, Scienteology
Satanism like Order of Nine Angels, Joy of Satan
    Christianity & Catholicism
    Gnosticism
    The Force
    Other (historical/fantasy):
    The Roman empire
    Knights (& knight orders)
    Cults
    The Inquisition
    The Catholic church
    The Crusades
    Freemasons
    Vikings
    Ancient Greece - especially Sparta
    Third reich
    Democratic People's Republic of Korea
Ancient Japan - especially Samurai, Ninja and Shogun
    Modern Japanese counterculture
    Animé
    Black Metal ideology
    Assassins
These are only a few things and I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot.

Re: What are your political and ideological influences?

I'd like to mention first of all that, as you can see from my profile, I am still very young, and I am only beginning to grasp the complexity of the thought variations of my beloved Europe, but I have still made many experiences, that have influenced me.

Here are a few of the most important influences of my thought:
    • Der Führer, his speeches always manage to bring a tear to the eye
    • The writings of Varg Vikernes
    • "Revolt against the Modern World", by my favourite author Julius Evola
    • The Esoteric Hitlerism of Miguel Serrano
    • The occult background of National-Socialsim, especially Heinrich Himmler
    • Oswald Spengler
    • The rune work of Guido von List and Karl-Maria Willigut
I'd also like to give a quick insight in the religious experiences of my life, chronologically:
    • Highly Anti-Christian Satanism (the Black Metal movement), I see this as the typical rebellious youth attitude
    • Asatru, founded on the ideas of Varg Vikernes, first contact with right-wing politics
    • Wotanism, the start of my National-Socialistic "era"
    • A quick exploration of Traditional Satanism, not the LaVeyan type
    • Irminism (germanocentric Wotanism), strongly mixed with NS-Occultism (the Black Sun) and Katharism
    • Right now I consider myself aryosophic, I see all european religions, Paganism and european Christianity as variations of living, organic aryan thought, created under different conditions
Of course, I am eager to learn more, and right now I am reading everything I can get my hands on

Sv: What are your political and ideological influences?

I'm going to name the ideologies that have influenced me over the years, to a bigger or lesser extent.

In chronological order (i have kept much of the ideological bagage i have aquired over the years, i'm the kind of person who rarely throws things away, instead it has tended to mould in quite nicely into the next "step" of ideological development, so i guess the tendency has been quite clear all along)

    American Conservatism/Anti Communism/Anti Leftism

    Nationalism/Racialism/National Socialism

    Ethno Nationalism/Anti Liberalism

Paleo Conservatism (which quite nicely sums up the views i hold, with some additions naturally, i have found my label so to speak, and labels is something i have always felt to be important)
