Does cephalic index definitely reflect blood linkage?

Does cephalic index definitely reflect blood linkage? Can a brachycephalic father or mother have dolichocephalic kids? Or there are both brachycephalic and dolichocephalic persons in brothers?

    AW: Blood linkage?

I would say it's mostly genetic, but also slightly influenced by the environment. Children don't have to look like their parents btw, often they tend to resemble one of the grandparents. So, for example, that's how it is possible that my mother had quite a low cephalic index (I suppose mesocephalic, rather low), while both of her parents are quite obviously brachycephals.
There might be more examples, also involving siblings.

This is true.I for example am phisically a great resemblance with my great-grandparent(he was ectomorphic and also antlanto-med with alpine influences).I think it's called skipping a generation in my case.:S
