Who in Your Childhood Influenced You the Most...?

Having thought about this for a while - I would like to ask y'all the question: Who in your childhood influenced you the most to help you become the person you are today, and why? Of course it can be more than one person. Georgia

PS: I am working on my answer .

    Two persons:

My dad: He was an severe father. At first he was an officer in the army and now he is a police officer. He put a special appraise on that I become a fine girl.

My grandfather: He taught that good upbringings is the most important for me.

    How about that ?
It was my paternal grandfather (I called him Opa) and my Papa as well. But I have to add my Mama to the list.

My Opa and Papa taught me from an early age to love and respect the land. Though living in a suburb of a large city by the time I started school, we had a small garden just outside the city. There wasn't anything they could not grow. At least not in my eyes. We spend hours together in the forrest and they would explain to me the difference between the mushrooms we would take home to cook and the ones that were poisonous. My Opa was more patient .

They both were very strict, but fair. With their ongoing teaching they instilled in me a love for books and history.

My Mama, a very quite and graceful woman, taught me by example what a lady is to be like. My Papa used words to teach me how to be a lady.

One thing that my Papa always impressed upon me was that values and beliefs that are based upon truth are never to be compromised, no matter what.

I am grateful that my Papa is still alive. He calls me often and we talk for hours.

    My friends, and various ideals.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

My mother and my father, of course. And my grandparents, too.

Re: Sv: AW: Who in your childhood influenced you the most...?

I would say my father. Even my mom says quite often how my personality is nearly identical to his (this is a positive thing, not a bad thing)! I like almost all of the same music as him too. We also have dislikes for many of the same things and share similar views. The weird thing is that I spent much more time with my mom when I was young but I barely resemble her at all.
