Do any of you drink Skullsplitter? Its Scottish beer that tastes to me just like Sam Adams Boston Lager.

Have you been drinking some? Perhaps that's why you posted this in the pictures thread. :drunk

No, but the short discussion of the non alcoholic bier "Kelts", which is located only a few posts behind me original bier post in this thread, prompted me to add my two cents about Skullsplitter.
Ok, so I have been drinking a bit, too....

This site is truly amazing. You can find in depth reviews for ANY beer made, it seems. A must for us beer enthusiasts.

Ah Skullsplitter, haven't had that one in a long time, brings back memories. I prefer Ales nowadays,Hobgoblin is one to try, lively and full of flavor, sweet yet bitter, with a fruit-like aftertaste.

    I know

I have had absynthe before.. I found it to be quite repulsive! Something about the way it burned my throat did not appeal to me.

Yeah, I didn't like Absinthe either.
I tried it in Ibiza one year, the barmaid poured sugar into it while setting it on fire before letting us drink it.
Usually if you drink something like that in one go (like Sambuca, Tequila, etc) you shudder for about 5 seconds.
Two minutes after drinking the absinthe we were still contorted in disgust!

If you want something powerful then you should try a Headbuster
One half Bailey's Irish cream, one half Aftershock.
It's pretty disgusting but one or two will knock you for six.
The first time I tried it I said "Wow, now I know why they call it Headbuster".

    I was wrong of course.
I found the true meaning when I woke up the next morning
