    Shadow People

Shadow ghosts appear as a shadow of sorts. They look a bit like Ecto-mist but are dark gray to black in color. There are actually three separate types and we list them all in classes below. In photographs, it's easy to confuse them with natural shadows, so be careful with your analysis. They are usually extremely sneaky and evasive. When they are spotted it's usually out of the corner of your eye or as they are darting through a wall.

    The Shadow People

    by Jane Louise Boursaw

You see something out of the corner of your eye. A fleeting glimpse of a shadowy figure that lingers for a moment and then is gone. But you're alone in the house, so how can that be? Then again, you've been working a lot lately, and not getting enough sleep. Yeah, that's it. It's all in your head. Or is it?
The buzz on late-night radio these days is a phenomenon called "Shadow People," shadowy figures that creep along the wall at night or loom over a house from a nearby tree.

Fact or fiction? No one knows for sure, but lots of people claim to have seen these creatures, spirits or whatever they are.

    Re: Shadow People

(...) the Shadow Beings are different enough from your common household spectre to merit their own classification. Although they tend to appear in human-like form, they rarely, if ever, resemble actual, reconizable deceased individuals. Whereas spirits tend to manifest as “ectoplasm,” that weird milky-white mist we’ve all seen in horror movies, Shadow Beings appear as an absence of whiteness, as though they’re sucking the light out of their surroundings.
