    Isn't this a perty site

I'd love to call that home. The home of my dreams would be something similar. I love log homes and I love big windows. I always say when I see these huge houses with little tiny windows...Big Mistake!

I want a nice yard and plenty of furry pets wondering around! Awww to dream!

But those large windows allow for more heat to be lost and lead to you having to use more wood or fuel in the winter!

Better to have a nice big porch, maybe with a fire pit near it.

I guess this illustrates the differences between the sexes though.

I think it isn't so much a man's or woman's thing. Keeping our bills low is very important to my mom and I. We all do little happy snoopy dances every month when we cut our bill lower and lower.

I vote that Mrs. Lyfing can have her pretty home with all the windows provided she:
    1) makes sure they are properly caulked and sealed.
    2) makes heavy curtains, with flannel lining between the curtain and the back lining.
    3) makes window draft stoppers

(You can also put up plastic on your windows.)

    I would like something modest.

    Just joking.

I'd like a big house. I like a lot of space so I'd like an extra story and many rooms. Maybe something like this, but bigger:

Neither too simple, nor too sophisticated.
    THINK! It's not illegal yet.

A modest dwelling in the country side with some extra rooms for family and guests plus a nice garden.

A small castle in a dramatic landscape would suffice.
