They've also got Septimius Severus in their list of "100 great black Britons" - who was neither black nor a Briton. :anieyes

St. geroge is patron saint of many Countries..
I guess, its apart of patriotism i find a tad unreliable.. or misleading rather.

As far as i can see.. Saint George is worshipped more at England international football matches than it is anywhere else.

I was also told, he was of greek origin, when constantinople was the centre of Christendom.

I like the legend of St. George fighting the dragon, good vs. evil and all that.

That's pretty much what tradition does hold, also that he was of a noble family(none of whom were black).

Now the other famous chivalric saint, St. Maurice, was from Africa and is often protrayed as a Moor.

St. George was adopted as England's patron saint after the English fought alongside the Genoese during the crusades, St. George of Cappadocia was also the patron saint of the Genoese.

St. Georges was the Saint of the Knighthood in France and I doubt he was black (if he really existed).

The true is that those poor negroes are complexed. They can't find famous pure breed negroid, so they've to put mulattoes in their list. Pathetic...

Btw, Queen Victoria was part negroid if one believe what they say.

Queen Charlotte, wife of the English King George III (1738-1820), was directly descended from Margarita de Castro y Sousa, a black branch of the Portuguese Royal House.
Isn't the miscegenation with black slaves the main argument of Kemp to explain the fall of the Portuguese power? He obviously has friends among deluded Afrocentrists.

whether he was black or not makes no difference to me. the problem isn't that england has a non-indo-european patron saint, but rather that England has a patron saint at all. Christianity is more alien and adverse to the interests of the English people than any number of non-white immigrants ever could be - because christianity, to an extent, is what has and will continue to blind the massess to the fact that non-white immigration is a huge problem.
