I think she looks Bruenn with a bit of Mediterranean.
No, she is predominantly Mediterranean. Notice dark pigmentation, long face, strong chin and very leptorhine nose with a downward slanting tip. She looks like she is part Gypsy, actually (no ofense intended, simply making an observation).Originally Posted by Wend
It was her jaw and blue eyes that made me say Bruenn.Originally Posted by Henry Ford
Bruenns are extremely light-skinned, snub-nosed, and usually possess a certain degree of hair rufosity. Mediterraneans can, and often do have strong jaws and blue eyes.Originally Posted by Wend
She looks like a Boer girl I know whose ancestors are also from Flanders.
I thought people of Flemish or English ancestry that live in South-Africa are not called Boers. I thought only people of Dutch ancestry were called Boers in South-Africa.
Correct me if I am wrong please
But anyway Flemings and Dutch are very similar, so you probably have a good point because the look this girl has is very common in the Low Countries
The Boers are a mixed people of predominantly NW-Central European descent, including Dutch, German, Flemish, British and French elements. As far as I am aware, all Afrikaans-speaking Whites living in the area of the former Transvaal, Natal, and Oranje Vrystaat, as well as smaller numbers of Afrikaans-speaking Whites in Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Kenya, call themselves 'Boers',Originally Posted by cbvnm

by the way : the language of South-Africa called ``Afrikaans`` is derived from Dutch
Dont you remember the British versus the Boers war 100 years ago? (``the Boer war``)
