Yes, that is exactly what they were but I don't know anyone who said otherwise.
Well, it seems that many people think these skulls come from a sub-race with pseudo Mongoloid characteristics. However, these skulls actaully come from individuals from the wider north-eastern European population where pseudo-Mongoloid characteristics were actually rare. So in that sense, Ladogans were not a sub-race, but just some individuals with exagerrated characteristics atypical of their group.

"......these Urlaics were neither Caucasoid nor Mongoloid.". I have read this also but that statement begs the question. What were they if they were neither Caucasian nor Mongoloid? If they are not a clinal population, in what was are they absolutely different from either of these two? To make such a strong statement, something beyond markers are necessary.

I don't know. This conclusion was made on the basis of craniometrical data.

    Re: Mongol Admixture in Ukraine

Did Ladogan come from Lake Lagoda in the Balts? Also, if you don't use Ladogan/Lappoid, you say Uralid? Again, Agrippa told me that it could have been climatical, but also an ancient mongoloid strain.. He also said the Uralic could've possibly been mixed with other Siberian mongoloids..

Charles Bronson was a descendant of the Lithuanian Tatars residing in old Poland.

Asiatic/Mongoloid admixture (Siberian and East Asian) is about 2.3%

    Source

However, whether this is entirely the deposit of the Golden Horde is unlikely. All of Eastern Europe has a deep (though relatively minor) affiliation with Siberians, and this is largely prehistoric. Mongols themselves, genetically, are roughly equal amounts Siberian and East Asian, so if they left their genes in the Ukraine, we should expect to see approximately equal levels of Siberian and East Asian genes in them. However, the Asiatic admixture in Ukrainians is wholly Siberian.
