    Post Bold and Italic

When I'm trying to type text in italic or bold font, I have to write the part I want to change, then highlight it and click on the Bold or Italic button.
Before I could click on them first and then type in a pop-up, but now it just gives you one part of the HTML code at the beginning of the phrase.

Im experiancing the opposite problem. I always prefer to go back after writing a post and make words bold or italic. Now, I have to click the bold or italic button first and then type the word in.
    It's annoying.

To get the popup, you have to be in "(o) Guided Mode", formerly called "Standard Mode".

You have to be in "(o) Enhanced Mode", but the browser will always put the tag at the end of the text, not at the cursor position. That's a browser limitation. The only exception might be Internet Explorer that possesses a non-standardized command for at-cursor-inserts. As I do not use IE, I'm not sure if it is supported, but if it worked previously, it might well be.

PS. Why don't you use the keyboard, and, if there are to be more codes of the same sort in the text, copy & paste to add the codes? I find it much faster.
