I just realized it would have been easier for me to say that I went from looking like a Motorhead roadie to a Weezer groupie.

"If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind?" - Frédéric Bastiat, The Law
Hot! Help me convince my wife to as well haha!
I've had a Scottish costume, kilt, sporran, kilt shirt and boots, for some time now since my mother is very proud of her Scottish heritage but my father is more relaxed about is Norse ancestors. So I have decided to make myself into a Viking. Step one is finish my chainmaille shirt, then get a tunic and maybe a shield and sword...or ax...the possibilities are endless! Or almost are.
I prefer simple clothing that is practical and comfortable without being too boring, but somehow this always means looking like a typical metalhead/stoner. I don't try for the look, but apparently it's just what I happen to pick up off of the floor every day.
On a typical day I'll be wearing skate shoes and (frequently mismatched) calf or knee socks, cargo shorts or jeans, whatever t-shirt looked interesting at the thrift store, a plaid button-up shirt, and few necklaces, usually some pendants relating to my ancestry and/or spiritual beliefs.
I neither cut my hair nor shave (for religious reasons), so I have a beard and hair to the middle of my back which is almost always in a ponytail, though if really need it out of the way I tie it back in a knot/bun.
To practice magic is to be a quack; to know magic is to be a sage. - Eliphas Lévi
At work... shirt and tie.
Casual... Depends, I used to be pretty 'Gothy' but have tended to tone that down, if we're walking in the countryside it'll be mostly green, not so much camouflage but an olive green M65 army jacket and boots.
I used to have a really long black leather 'Gestapo' type jacket which I used to wear all the time but I don't like wearing leather now. It's not a vegan thing, I just don't like wearing it. However I'd never wear fur!
If we go out for a meal I tend to wear a shirt and sometimes a tie, depends on the situation.
I don't tend to wear 'band' t shirts that much anymore but will wear ones that I buy now and again, Star Wars to Hong Kong Phooey...![]()
"Only through a re-integration of Humanity into the whole of Nature can our People be made stronger."
I wouldn't wonder if many people here were Social-Darwinists, the survival of the fittest, assigned to clothes I think it would be reasonable not to stick out too much, at least not in young years, to avoid disadvantages.
When I was younger I never cared about clothes and must have looked rather absurdly which made me an outsider, a circumstance that partly persecutes me to the present day - for this reason I care about my look now.
In the meanwhile I found my own style which I think is quite fashionable but nothing too fancy, and I avoid some brands that I consider too mainstream in some way.
I like a masculine, subtile militaristic and kind of rural look, for example khaki M65 military pants or workers's jeans combined with a checked shirt.
If I hadn't to consider any cultural norms I think I would most likely wear different camouflage pants all the time.
Normal, but I'm thinking of moving to more sophisticated clothing:

I have a mix of three styles. My style is a mix of national socialist, skinhead and american country. National socialist portion is the hair-style. My clothing is country/work style clothing. With skinhead boots (stopped wearing white laces due to constant harassment by zog law enforcement and I do not cuff or tuck my jean pant legs into the boot, they fit over the boot). It is a good style. Believe it or not, they do blend well together when you dress the right way.
My attire is mine. I wear clean pants or jeans with a leather belt. Into those pants I tuck in a shirt, be it plaid, khaki, linen, T-shirt, wifebeater... I don either some sort of polished boots or shoes. I either have a baseball cap, brimmed hat, fur hat, or nothing on my head. My hair is long and is combed back into a "pony tail", but my face is shaven. Jackets and coats vary depending on the occasion. Simply said, I look after my appearance.
Work is another matter though. It's either jeans or overalls depending on what I am doing. Footwear is usually big rubber boots or some other dirty cloppers. Shirts and overcoats don't matter as long as the job gets done. It's either a big straw hat, a fur hat, or some other brimmed hat for on my head.
So yeah, I dress according to the occasion.
Actually, it is a mix between the 1920-1945 fascist and National Socialist look and the normal look. I've tried the sikinhead look a while ago, but now only retain it's combat boots and white laces. Anyway, depends on the ocasion, but I usualy adopt the 1920-1945 fascist and National Socialist look plus the combat boots. Only sometimes I nedd to look "normal".
