1977 Mopar Passenger Car Parts Catalogue

It doesn't have numbered pages, but is about the same size as your standard magazine and 10,5(!) centimeters thick, covering absolutely every part used, from body sheet metal down to nuts and bolts. Just got this today, along with both 1977 Mopar ( electric + body&chassis) service manuals and some NOS-condition parts I found.

My copy of Iron Sunrise by Charles Stross finally arrived yesterday. It's a sequel to his somewhat overhyped debut, Singularity Sky.

Charles Stross's universe is ruled by an omnipotent AI entity that calls itself the Eschaton, that jealously monitors the activities of humanity in order to prevent them from creating time/space violations that would edit it out of existence. :O

This book was the first in a series produced for the CIA & Special Forces at Frankford Arsenal in the late 1960’s. The goal was to develop methods whereby CIA & Special Forces personnel could make explosives & Munitions in the field, using commonly available materials. The information was then issued in small, loose leaf notebooks to field personnel. This volume’s 3 sections cover: Explosives & Propellants, Mines & Grenades, Small Arms Weapons & Ammunition. 51/2"x81/2", softcover, illus., 145pp.
I have a copy in .pdf if anyone wants me to host it.

...and I'll be taking some great delight today in cutting most of the 114 pages open from K.E. Schreiner's Anthropological Studies of the Sogn (Oslo, 1951), a copy which apparently rolled out from the press and remained unread for more than fifty years...eyes:

Anyhow, I have enough non-fiction and novelles in my book shelves to spend with the long, cold and lonesome Winter nights, and the numerous PDF and web articles aside, there's hardly any need to visit the library (public/university)...

So what's to find among my book collections on anthropology...let's see, it's not quite an impressive medley, but with recent budgetary cuts that should do for some time:
