I'm in a bit of an interval.

    I read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_(novel)

Truly excellent. Much better than the silly film, really was a pleasure reading.

    I'm planning on reading:

    Looks great, can't wait.

    'The Law' by Frederick Bastiat

Written in the mid-19th century, accurately predicts the political mess we are in today, with various special interest groups wrestling to use the force of the state to appropriate property and deny rights to opposing groups. Bastiat makes a compelling case that The Law should be preserved to protect the rights of the individual and not used to extort concessions, economic or otherwise, from one group to another.

Reading a book by Alf R. Jacobsen called Banesår. It's about a attack on Tirpitz by some mini submarines and the search for the missing submarine that was never recovered.

    The Gladiator by Harry Turtledove

A novel that takes place in an alternate universe in which the USSR won the Cold War, in the Italian People's Republic around the year 2100, although in this wold technology has not advanced beyond that which was available in the late 20th century. The main characters are a teenager who hangs out at a game shop playing board games like Rails Across Europe and his neighbor, it turns out that the game shop is run by people from our universe who import the games to teach free market principles.

Am about to start reading Sword Song - Bernard Cornwell. I've been waiting such a long time.. It came out a month or two ago but I couldn't afford to buy it. Maelstrom bought it for me just before I left and now that I've finished exams there's nothing stopping me! It's the 4th book in his Saxon Series. I'm hoping it's good as this series so far just hasn't been as gripping as the Grail Quest. Anyone know if it's going to be good?
