Not in my case; every times I was in love there were nothing but pure feelings involved, there was no lust or anything else. "Lust" comes after, and it's also a part of the thing afterall. Nothing wrong with it yet.

Actually this word 'Love' is far too easily said & felt. It basically stems from a desire to please thyself and can be broken down to rather shallow endearment/s to a human, animal or object etc. There is no such thing as a complete 'Love' of anything or anybody.
The only pure love that can exist -without interests- is when you love God say the Christians.

The second case was when I was 17, then I was working in a slaughterhouse and I fell in love with the vet-doctor that worked there. She was 31 at the time, single and so beautiful!! She is to me the perfect blonde germanic maiden, she looks like a mother on a poster from the Third reich.

I used to look at her very much when I was at work and think about her, but we never spoke more than a few times. I never did show me interest to her in any other way then by looking at her, I dont know why... maybe I will some day, as she is perfect for breeding
You are definitely Germanic, that much is sure, and that deserves a
approach romance (aka female psychology) objectively, like anything else, and you'll succeed

I don't believe in Love at first site but I believe in infatuation at first site which can develop in to being in love and then that fizzles in to just plain Love.

At this point ( and I am probably at one of my highest rational stages at the moment) I don't, so I answer no. I may love for instance, the aesthetic appearance of a being, as I might when I look at a beautiful woman, or if I see one of our flags or our symbols, but a lot of that love was learned, and grew through experience and understanding. I would say that if I knew nothing about the person and was just going on what I see, the first moment, I would say no, I could not fully judge whether or not I love the person. But certainly, I could say that the possibility of love may (or may not) be there.

It is possible that sympathy becomes love. Sympathy should not be confused with love, but seen as a prerequisite to love.

Thus, love in its literal meaning is not possible at first sight, but takes some time to build up, no matter how picky (or not) you are. Also take into consideration that "love" is mostly a biological process and not everybody is able to experience it equally.

    I wish I knew.

Things like this tend to go numerous ways; sometimes it happens, others, it doesn't. It'd be nice if there was a hard and fast rule for theories like this, but there isn't.

As such, "it" hasn't yet happened to me. I don't expect it will, but having a belief in something doesn't automatically have it turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The times in which I have fallen in love, have always been gradual processes, and not necessarily reciprocated by the other party. I shrug my shoulders at that - some women are soulless manipulators. Luckily, I didn't invest too much of my own in them before I realized it.

Somehow, I didn't end up turning into a misogynist. Go figure. It must be the hopeless romantic in me.

Yes I’m certain that it happens all the time.
Should the subduing talisman, the Cross, break, then will come roaring forth the wild madness of the old champions, that insane Berserker rage, of which the northern poets sing. That talisman is brittle, and the day will come when it will pitifully break. The old stone gods will rise from the long-forgotten ruin and rub the dust of a thousand years from their eyes; and Thor, leaping to life with his giant hammer, will crush the Gothic cathedrals!

    Oh. I like this question!
I've had so many complicated and heartbreaking relationships, that I am doubting in love.
    So... I answered:
    Don't know!
But man, I hope I'll get to find out some day.
