I remember my dreams pretty well everyday or at least remember that I had a dream...and then forgot what about...

I still wake up exhausted. Then again I am running on a normal schedule these days...I have pretty bad insomnia so I am used to being up for days on end without sleep or being up all night and sleeping all day...can't do that anymore. 2-4 hours of sleep and I used to feel great and well rested. Now that I get about 6-8 hours of sleep I feel like a walking zombie all the time. :/

    This article was most useful

I'll post my essay by the end of the week when its done.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

Ladygoeth33, you are having what are called "rational dreams". These are dreams you control. This is a goal in Armanenschaft training. What they do is repeat, aloud, the runes seven times a day. They call it "breathing the runes" because of the gutteral, whispering sounds they make. I am told that these sounds, each sound, rattles or shakes the pitiutary gland in a slightly different way which makes each one necessary. The messenger proteins secreted influence the whold body. Among other things it is said that this practice will increase the life span. Once rational dreams appear, you are given a task to do while in the dream. This all, somehow, results in a higher brain fuction. One must be of Aryan blood for this to work, but that won't be a problem for you.

This system actually works. It worked for me. I had rational dreams. You do remember your dreams, in total. In one dream, I explained the Hardy-Weinberg Law to someone who was interested---and it was exactly right. The problem was that rational dreams=NO SLEEP. For some reason, sleep, in this state leaves a person less rested than when they went to bed. I could only take this so long and then I had to give it up.

One benifit: this I only know from intution. Runic practice will protect a person from mental influence such as the black magic of the Kaballah. It acts like a force field against such things. It is surprising how much Kaballah magic is in our daily lives.

Post Re: Creative People Remember More Dreams

One of the weird things about me is that I have very strange, bizarre dreams almost every night. I am never "myself" in my dreams, and some of them the world around me is different, like people will be wearing old-fashioned clothes or have parrot heads on human bodies. My dreams usually take place in a different time and a different place, and I never dream about my friends or family. I dream about made-up people, some of which return to appear in more dreams. The really strange thing is that all of my dreams seem perfectly real while I'm having them, but when I wake up I wonder why I couldn't figure out it was a dream. In fact, I have only had one "lucid dream," where I knew it was a dream while I was dreaming. Also, my dreams are almost always nightmares. I actually like nightmares. In a way they can be thrilling.

So, this comes as good news to me! This means I'm creative! I thought I was just weird...

I wouldn't be suprised because the right side of your brain is the creative side and the right side is the "euphoric" side as it may be called and the more active that is the more one can recall and remember many detail within.

I wish I wouldn't remember my dreams. I have all weird ones with fish jumping out of fishtanks, dead animals, houses that shake and have no true form....etc etc. When I was younger I used to always have dreams of people chasing me. The only ones that bother me now and that wake my up is where I feel someone grab my leg or I feel like someone is lifting me from my shoulders and I fall back into bed.

Have you ever tried videotaping yourself while you sleep?

Depends. Some dreams I remember, others I totally forget. My favorite dream was when I was a Lt. in the Russian army in Chechnya. My units had all sorts of missions, including burning down all sorts of villages. I was depressed when I woke up from that one!
