    "Mein Leben fuer Irland"

I think this is one of the better movies from the NS-Era in Germany. Also in terms of the pictoral condition.
"And God proclaims as a first principle to the rulers, and above all else, that there is nothing which they should so anxiously guard, or of which they are to be such good guardians, as of the purity of the race. They should observe what elements mingle in their offspring;..." Plato Politeia

Haven't watched a good movie in a while. But I simply can't wait until I get to watch "The Hobbit"

    Amazing movie!
    Im Holderstrauch, im Holderstrauch.
    Der blühte schön im Mai,
    Da sang ein kleines Vögelein
Ein Lied von Lieb und Treu...

I remember seeing that movie when it came out and it made me think about isolation and how much I would miss other people! We really are very depended on one another and humans very much are social creatures. I liked it as well

Hmm... The last movie I saw was the Irish movie 'The Field'. A bit depressing really, but also some nice scenes from the Irish countryside.

    Underworld: Awakening

The newest (and 4th) part of the "Underworld" series depicting the eternal battle between Vampires, Lycans and Humans. Kate Beckinsale has a comeback and the movie reaches the quality and dark atmosphere of the first movie of the series! Great action scenes and the story has an open end - we will see some follow-up movies!

    My rating: 8/10

    Drive

A great movie - a mix of thriller, drama, action and film noir - about an introvert, silent and quite mysterious man who's a stunt driver at day and a driver for crime business at night. After he fell in love with the woman next door he wants to stop "driving". But fate has a different plan, and then there's lots of bad luck involved...

The car chase in the first 10 minutes of the film is just perfect, and so is the fitting soundtrack. The whole movie is a homage to the movie "Driver" of 1978...but better.

    My rating: 9/10

    Livid

A well-made and interesting French horror movie with some great moments and an unique story. The first 40 minutes are more like a calm teen adventure but then the story develops to pure horror with some of the best shock moments I've seen. It's also full of surprises. Horror fans should watch it.

    My rating: 7.5/10

Absolute classic, many a fond memory of watching this with my Grandfather. Such a rousing film. Why don't we breed them like this anymore?
