Post Your Favorite European Ethnic Cuisine?

Personally I find Italian cuisine to be the most Agreeable to my palate. I just love Pasta's it's amazing what the Italians can do with noodles. I'm also a big fan of Pizza and Lasagne.

I also like German food. Think Hamburgers.

    Hamburgers.

I like German and Polish food. Saurbraten, Konigsburg Klopse, Toast Karilla, Jajka Nadziewane Szanka, Kluski z makiem, etc.

I have gone sea-food vegetarian, so now my diet is limited. Irish, Welsh, English and Italian cuisine have certain meals which I could eat and that I enjoy.

English: Fish and chips, bubble and squeak (cabbage and mashed potatoes, a rip off of Colcannon), Ploughman's lunch (served in pubs, Cheese, pickles and pickled onions), bitter (beer), Earl Grey and breakfast tea

Irish: Colcannon, white and dark pudding cake, Guiness, Uisgebheatha

Welsh: Welsh Rarebit (Grilled cheese sandwich)

Italian: Pasta, shrimp scampi, clams casino.

I thought Welsh Rarebit had beer mixed with cheese and a little butter and was dumped on bread...

I love Italian food but Greek's definetly up there. My favorite Polish snack is perogies, those things are awesome. I think the Russians call them Pidogies or something.

I love sea food, so Italian and Spanish is nice, Italian before all others. But in fact almost every nation has something good, special dishes. F.e. boeuf stroganoff is great etc.

There are several different variations to make it. I tried the beer one last time. There is more involved than just the ingrediants you mentioned though.

Yeesh! You can tell he looks over my shoulder when I cook. I made the beer version last time in hopes he would eat it, because it has BEER in it. Normally he complains about every recipe if he sees me put cream cheese, sour cream, anchovies, or anything else in something that he deems "yuck." And about MEN..... if they DON'T know what's in it, they EAT it, like it, and have no clue. I know this from great experience. Once they KNOW what is in something, they freak out. I've been cooking for my family full time since I was a young teen. My mom went on cooking strike because my father and brother refused to eat her meals, but they would eat mine. To this day, if my family goes to her house for dinner-- it means that I am doing the cooking.

Okay, I am now finished with my "complain" session. I feel much better and can now go back to being nice and sweet.
