Weapons Collectors?

First I'd like to state that I am proud to be the first person to post in this new sub-forum.

On the topic of military small arms.. is anyone else a collector?
I have had many different kinds of "assault rifles" and I enjoy them immensly. My current favorite is my Bushmaster XM-15 E2S A3 20" heavy bbl. I know a lot of people are not fond of AR15/M16 rifles because of a horrendously bad reputation that preceeds them, but if taken care of, they are wonderful. This one is by far the most accurate "out of the box" rifle I've ever seen.

I just bought a Westlake .22 air pistol, 5.5mm calibre, in order to "neutralise" noisy magpies outside my window in the morning .

Good enough for the time being. There are many out there that would like to outlaw even what you have right now.

Now, buy a scope and get some good MOA with it!

A magpie? I'm sure you have them probably call them something else, though.

A member of the Corvus family of birds.
Like a crow but slightly smaller and coloured black and white.
Highly aggressive birds. You know of them?

I can honestly say that I have never seen this bird.

Then count yourself lucky, my friend.
They perch outside my window every morning at dawn (about 5.30am here just now) and screach and caw, (usually the noise is their young telling the parents they've just destroyed some other birds nest or are ripping a young bird to pieces). I batter the window, shout dire threats to them, but always end up with about 5 hours sleep at the end.
The mornings I've spent dreaming up ways to effect Magpie Genocide are countless! LOL

Hopefully, my trusty new pistol will start reducing the noise pollution

you have me near tears here...i know theyre unlucky birds but still
i love birds...especially hawks etc..kestrels and skylarks especially
