Post Classify schoolchildren from Lundeneset (Norway)

After this thread was accidentally lost in the upgrade, I decided to repost.

These are schoolchildren from Lundeneset in Norway. (No, I am not into kiddie porn - it is purely for anthropological observation )

Here are a few pictures. These pictures are not posted for the individuals' attractiveness (some of them are not attractive in my book), but rather to have a look at what an ordinary Norwegian looks like. Bear in mind that Norwegians are usually significantly less "Hallstatt" than Swedes, mostly because of UP Brunn admixture. In Telemark, though, pure Hallstatts can be found, as well as selected areas in far eastern Norway. I wish I could visit these parts some day.

As you pointed out Loki, Norway is much more Upper Paleolithic than Sweden, in which the Brunn element being most important. Borreby and Phalian types are also common in the Southern Coastal regions I believe.

Also of importance is a Battle-Axe/Corded strain, which is more evident on the Western Coastline as opposed to the Eastern Valleys, which features more of the "Classic" Iron age Nordic type.

These are pictures of showing the genetics of one town. It would be more different in Olso. I have a friend from Østfold and he looks different from those children.

WOW! That second picture down scared the turds out of me. I’d say the forth one down is the best of the group, attractiveness wise. I'm not gay or anything but the guys aren't to bad. Its ashame the women they must choose from.

    Thumbs Down

Good pictures! I wish that would be the European future, and not all those little Orientals, Negroes and half-Negroes I see everywhere here...

Some of them look like they have bad dye jobs (especially the guy fourth from the bottom!). What's with the yellow hair?? Or maybe it's just my monitor....? A couple of the guys are nice looking though

The "yellow" hair is natural, and no dye-job. This is quite common in Norway. Strawberry blond too.... because of the mixture of ash-blond from the Hallstatt part, and the rufosity, causing the reddishness, from the UP Brunn element. The result is a blond with a yellowish or "strawberry" tinge, in some cases.

I was surprised at how ruddy their complexions were, I wasn't aware that people in Norway had those type of complexions. The ash blonde hair looks more natural with the pink complexions, but who am I to second guess nature?? They all have the most beautiful blue eyes.

I thought that Hallstatt's had golden blonde hair moreso than ash-blonde. Can somebody please clear this up for me? And do those high gumlines (look at those girl's smiles) come from the Hallstatt or the Brunn side?

Typical Hallstatts are ash-blond. The golden tinge you see in some people's hair, is actually from a tiny bit of rufosity present, I believe. (please correct me anyone if this is wrong)

I have heard that the highest percentage of yellow hair is to be found on Gotland.

    Don't know about the gumlines.
