I think there are huge differents between the various peoples of the Balkan, much bigger ones than f.e. in Germany of course.
Both between ethnic groups, city-country, social group etc.

So its hard to generalize it, especially if its about f.e. criminal Albanian immigrants or Gypsies etc...

Indeed, these strange societies aside, we, as anyone else, have a great
difference between urban and rural populations.

The wars caused emigration, so, the highly-educated urban Balkanoids got
highly-qualified positions and jobs in the EU, USA, Canada etc;
while the rural people got jobs as construction workers.

So, depending on one's social status, that's also the sort of Balkanoids this person meets.

If you're a German who is in the higher social strata, you can meet
Balkanoid people like the guy who designed the new Rolls Royce.

If you're a German whos one of the lower classes, you can meet
Balkanoids of a similar education and level, like Serbian construction workers,
Albanian hookers and drug dealers etc.

and that's based on nothing really.

Actually, it is merely a proportional response to your comments on how impossible Northern/Central European immigration to the Balkan could have been.

Nonetheless, if you compare a Turkish, a Serbian and a German construction worker you will most probably conclude your opinion about ethnic characteristics.

Well, I already posted the comparison between the Danubian and the Greek weaponry. I also repeatedly posted maps about findings of the Germanic (or better proto-Germanic) "Griffzungenschwert" (a special type of Bronze swords) on this board and never received any answer.

Through most of its history, Balkans was more advanced, or on par with the rest of the continent. ( I say continent, because the word 'Europe' was originally used only for the Balkans area ).
