Question Can anyone just give the general/brief guidelines to be classified ?

Instead of shifting through all the crap can anyone just give the general/brief guidelines to be classified as:

    Noric
    Anglo-Saxon
    Borreby
    Brunn
    Nordish
    Alpine
    Halstatt
    Dinaric
    Etc.

Or maybe just features unique to each group…particularly body build. Sorry if I left a group out. These are the ones I've heard thrown around as of lately.

    Post Re: Help Me?

Your best bet is to just look at the link Scathach gave, but I'll give a few "basics".

Noric: When most people here say "Noric" they are referring to a person with both Dinaric and "nordish" traits. This is actually not a correct definition of "Noric".
True Norics are one particular manifestation of Dinaric and either Nordic or Baltid mixture. True Norics have a historical unity, and are found primarily in the Balkans, Austria, and Southern Germany.
They are of fair complexion, with long faces and prominent (and usually convex) noses. They are also planoccipital (lack a 'bulge' in the back of the head).

Anglo-Saxon: Long face and skull. Fair complexion. Rather "chiseled" features, and (at least imo) prominent foreheads. The males especially tend to be big-boned and rather powerfully built.
This is the type Coon seems to link to those Germanic tribes who moved southward from Scandinavia.

Borreby: These look like Alpines, but tend to be taller, with more 'chiseled' features, and a much lighter complexion. The skull is also a bit longer than with Alpines, though Borrebys still (though barely) fall in the brachycephalic ('round skulled' ) range.

Brunn: Big, powerful, long face/head, prominent nose, fair complexion, brown or red hair, blue or blue-mixed eyes.
    These are your 'stereotypical' Irishmen.

Nordish: This is not a race, but a term loosely applied to any race indigenous (since at least the iron age) to Northern Europe.

Alpine: Short, stocky, dark hair/eyes, broad face, round skull.

Halstatt: The 'classic' or 'true' Nordic. Tall, fair complexion, long face/skull, etc.

Dinaric: Lanky yet heavy build, angular features, prominent and convex (often downturned) nose, planoccipital, long face, dark complexion.

I am also working on a detailed schematic representation of the Nordish race, in MS Excel form. It will take me possibly another week, then I will post it to the forum.

“You forgot Trønders! The best one of all!”

    Sorry

I really don’t fit any of those to a “T” so its hard to say. Maybe a mix of Noric and Brunn…err…and Borreby…why not throw Anglo-Saxon and Halstatt in there too.

I’d send a picture to a moderator to cast their own opinion but I don’t trust anyone now. I use to visit Stormfront as a lurker about once a week to keep up with the news. In their picture section, posters who sent their pictures to the mods for private use ended up getting their photos posted against their consent. What queers (Sorry, but they are!) How can someone fight for a cause if they loose their job? God they’re ****ING idiots (Sorry about the language but that pisses me of to no end). I really feel for the people…
