I've read in many articles that nordics, or at least blondes were much more prevalent the french nobility throughout royal french history. Being nordic, or blonde that was one reason why they were very much so singled out by revolutionaries for execution. To what extent can this be corroborated?
What percentage of the third estate (the entire rest of the population outside the nobility and clergy) was blonde, or are there any reputable articles out there discussing this matter?

Yeah, i admit, i've read something of similar on Biasutti Anthropological Encyclopedia , but it's only a note, reported from others authors. He substantially reports that french nobility shows, in the complex, a strong nordic appearence. Although, nothing about hair colour in specific. We can estimate the double of "normal " french population, i think. So, if French population has a general blondism range of 15-20% , "ancient noblility" range could be 40-50% ( nobles were less than 2% of entire 1789 french population
