    Here's the Gausdalenbunad. It's the dress where my great grandmother came from (Lillehammer, Norway). I'm working on sewing a copy. It's a bit hard to find the right material.

    I don't think there is a woman's body type that doesn't look good in a Dirndltrachten. They are totally flattering to any woman.

    Having many Swedish friends, I have to point out they they also have a Swedish National

    I've gathered that the hats are called bollenhut. Can anyone tell me more about them. When did they start being worn? Were/are they common in Baden-Baden?
