Post Two Movies I went to See

Last night I went to see The Matrix Reloaded. The day before I went to see People I Know.

Was there like 100X more negros in this Matrix than the first? Other than all the negros, I thought it was well written and directed. I think Hugo Weaving is the best actor in it. I think a younger version of Marlon Brando would had been a better choice for Morpheus. (I'm sure Vanessa would agree )

I think People I know could had been better written. Pacino does an excellent acting job in it. The anti-Jewishness in it I think is too subtle. That's why it made it to the theatre. Also Robert Redford was one of the Executive Producers. I'm sure he had some power in it being made.

Now, what's with this new Jim Carrey movie Bruce Almighty. They got negro Morgan Freeman playing God.

Could you make a better film than Matrix reloaded?

What do you mean by better? I certainly could cast it better.

Well the story line needs improving, there was no real method for building up tension within the audeince. The basic look of the whole thing could of been improved!

I don't know. I liked it the way it was -- except for casting. The Wachowski brothers wrote it and directed it. It was their artist expression. If I would had directed it, it would look totally different -- and probably not better.

I HATED "Matrix: Retarded"...err...I mean "Reloaded". It was like they just shoved a bunch of lame techno-nerd ideas into a crate, shook it up, and got a script!! I came close to screaming in the theatre due to frustration, especially whenever I heard someone say "nebadcanezzer" (sp??!!!) The whole movies like this:

    Keanu..erm..."Neo" I should say: "duh....like everythings a program"...."I know kung fu"....."I can fly like superman"...."Look its like..clones...dude.." "I have super powers" x_hehe

The only thing I liked was the action scenes. The whole movie should have been Neo fighting those Smith replicas.

I think a younger version of Marlon Brando would had been a better choice for Morpheus. (I'm sure Vanessa would agree )

How did you know I would agree? LOL The funny thing is, that's exactly what I was thinking through the whole movie! I think Brando should have been in it, even if he is aged...

And I have not heard of this movie with Pacino in it....I love Pacino though....maybe that's what I'll do tonight...see a movie...
I envision a world where people dawning long white robes and elaborate headdresses run rampant down the streets, waving their arms in the air while screaming "we've gone mad, we've gone mad", like defrocked monks breaking the silence of ages past.

Spoonblade: Sharper than a knife and twice as deadly.

I can't take Keanu Reeves seriously. Everytime I see him in an 'intense' movie I think of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, his only good movie, IMO.

I saw it and didn't like it much.

All the fighting seemed a bit pointless and not in line with the story. It's like "we haven't had any action for a while so let's throw in a fight scene". Also that techno rave scene was about 5 minutes too long.

There were a whole bunch of guys wearing trench coats come to see it, except they didn't look cool, just stupid.
