"Godfather legend Marlon Brando is continuing to feud with American History X director Tony Kaye - and now the film-maker says he's getting nasty messages on his answering machine. The pair fell out earlier this year when Kaye was videoing Brando's acting master class "Lying For A Living." The bizarre shoot, which saw the rotund actor turn up to class in drag and dressed as a church minister, descended into a fight after a screaming match between the two men which concluded when Brando tried to attack his former pal. Now Kaye says he's getting nasty messages. He says, "I had one strange call on my answering machine. The voice sounded like the Devil. He said, 'I'm in your house. I'm going to kill you.' I was so frightened I didn't go back to my house for a couple of weeks. I went to the police with the tapes. They treated it as a joke." '

Ed Norton And Brando's Windy Device

Actor Edward Norton loved working with heavyweight legend Marlon Brando, because of his unique sense of humour. The Primal Fear star was amused by eccentric Brando's antics on set during filming of The Score Norton says, "He has this electronic fart device and he spends as much time... you know, for him the scenes are almost second nature. "He spends more time figuring out where Bob [De Niro] is gonna be during the scene, so that he can tape it up under the chair that he's gonna land on at the most serious moment and fire it off in the middle of a take. That's what working with him is like. And it's a pleasure. It was obviously one of the main, compelling reasons for me to do this."

Marlon Brando Clashes with Frank Oz

NEW YORK (AP) - Marlon Brando's off-screen antics during filming of The Score were high drama.

Brando would refuse to come to the set if director Frank Oz was present, leaving co-star Robert DeNiro to direct one of Brando's scenes. Oz watched from an offsite monitor and sent instructions to DeNiro via an assistant director, Time magazine reported in its July 16 issue.

When they were in the same room, Brando called Oz "Miss Piggy," and at one point said, ``I bet you wish I was a puppet so you could put your hand up my ass and make me do what you want," Time reported.

As a young puppeteer, Oz provided the voice for Miss Piggy on The Muppet Show.
