    I got:

After Virtue - Alasdair MacIntyre (I have to understand the thing that Fade thinks can beat postmoralism/power nihilism...)
Whose Justice? Whose rationality? - Alasdair MacIntyre
Anti-Oedipus - Capitalism and Schizophrenia - Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari
Democracy in America - Alexis De Tocqueville
Deleuze and Geophilosophy - Mark Bonta and John Protevi
The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order - Samuel Huntington
Man, Economy and the State with Power and Market (Scholar's edition) - Murray Rothbard
Michael Foucault - Aesthetics - Essential works of Foucault 1954 - 1984 - edited by James D. Faubion

And a ticket to Big Day Out (a big, once a year concert that happens across Australia with a bunch of different bands - Slipknot and System of a Down are playing so I told my mum I'd like go about a month ago), plus the first three volumes of Astroboy on DVD. Which was unexpected, but cool in a twisted sort of way.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

    Money.
"slavic" languages are absolutely arteficial (Read "slawenlegende"). The "glagolica", invented by a bunch of monks, is nothing but an ancient esperanto, creating new words, definitions and alphabet out of regional slangs.

The craddle of European Civilization comes from the North. All blond people originate from the north. So if you see a blond-blue eyed Slovene, Russian, Czech, Polak ect., you can be 100% sure that his ancient ancestors originated from "Germanics" (Germanic = Nordic).
"slovenja" was the settelment of the Langobards = Germanics/Teutons. "Poland" of the Goths and East-Vandals ect. ect. What do "slavs" tell us about their origin?
Some silly story that they originate from some swamps in the east and popped out of no where into history.

So you see my dear "Gorostan" [=Triglav], you are in reality a "Germanic" indoctrinated with panslav propaganda and historic fantasy stories. ~Dr. Brandt, former TNP and Skadi member

    Nothing besides a hangover.
And all my youth passed by sad-hearted,
    the joy of Spring was never mine;
Autumn blows through me dread of parting,
and my heart dreams and longs to die.

    - Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850)

Real misanthropes are not found in solitude, but in the world; since it is experience of life, and not philosophy, which produces real hatred of mankind.

    - Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837)

Godfather trilogy DVD and ancestrybydna.com test is what I bought for myself.

Too early to get my chubby American hands on anything else. I'm guessing mum will pick me up some clothing and that'll be the most of the holiday.

I never get drunk on any religious holidays, I prefer to spend them with my family. I also think the solemn sacrality of such occasions might be spoiled if I puked my brains out during them or fraternized with the hoi polloi

Anyway, I mostly got books. The whole Narnia-collection and a Swedish fantasy-book, Svavelvinter. And some items for the home.

Thumbs Up Re: So what did you all get for Christmas? Or whatever holiday you call it...

I got some money, but that doesn't count, since my grandma had no idea it's gregorian christmas. Here in Serbia, the julian calender christmas is celebrated in january. It features lots of bad religious movies on TV, no presents and no drinking
