    Post Re: favorite movies

    At the moment; Danish action.

It started with the movie Pusher, about the last days in the life of a drugdealer. Very intense and very realistic. Then came the "follow-up" Bleeder, which was more about relationships. After this In China they eat dogs (I Kina spiser de hunde) about two brothers who rob a bank, among other things. And then the prequel to In China, Old men in new cars (Gamle mend i nye biler). Recently The good copper (Den gode stroemer) was released but I haven't seen it yet.

If you get the opportunity to see them, take it.

I'd love to be able to list my 30 favourite movies of all time, but I haven't seen enough movies for that, and I'm also picky enough that sometimes I think I don't like any movies at all . I have a list of films that I'd like to see, which I am sure is somewhere in the 100s. I recently subscribed to a DVD mailing service, so now I should be able to cut down that list a little. But, I do love film as a medium. Here are a few that I would not hesitate to call favourites:

    Yume/Dreams (Kurosawa)
    The Seventh Seal (Bergman)
    A Clockwork Orange (Kubrick)
