Post How Do You Cope With Stress?

Well not to sound like Dear Abby but "how the heck does one get rid of stress and just the days where you feel at the end of your rope"? I have had a rough couple of days and believe me when I say I came close to ...... well , you know. That would be against the law.
On a day where you feel down or just pissed off at the whole world your mind goes trough different stages. Punching bag just gets you more worked up , taking a walk is hard with a bumb knee, etc.
What do you do to relieve the stress? I have tried it all , and nothing seems to work. Deep breaths dont do squat. I wish there was a place ,somewhere in the country side ,that I could build a home and get away from all the crap that we call life. Have other proud white people come and build nearby , have a community of just good white folk.
I think that will be the only way to live life whithout the politics that have poisned our way of life. Get away from the jew crap we get bombarded with each and every day.
So people what do you do to keep from exploding? Maybe something will work. Otherwise i'm going to start looking for a place in the mountains.
    Well take care people.

Well the best thing to relieve stress for me is to have contact with nature by for example going to swim in Summer or other activities and going somewhere green and/or in the countryside in the other seasons. Stress in my life comes when I have to sit for an exam or do an assignment/project mostly, well I am still a student. I used to live alone but rather than stress I felt melancholic and unhappy as being isolated even though I am quite the solitary type.

Getting drunk and/or smoking or beating up someone are not options I would consider.

Yes the green fields or the country is the only thing that does work. Thats why i'm thinking of moving out of the city.

I excersise and work out to releive stress but somedays when I am really worked up or in a shitty mood, I go to the local bar and wait for the biggest loudest idiot to reveal himself and then I thump him. Not always the most intelligent thing to do but helps keep me sharp. Although sometimes in trouble with the law.

I'd suggest getting some kind of hobby. I collect "inverts" (invertebrates, such as tarantulas, scorpions, and centipedes). I'll make the tanks myself, mix my own substrate, and generally keep myself busy with my collection when I can. It usually takes my mind off the stress for a bit.
Driving around is something else I do to calm down. Just go out for a long drive and think.
Then of course, there is this board.

During the long winters we have in VT, I heat my house solely with wood....you know, I hate to support the oil barrons.

Anyway, I always find splitting a cord of wood to be a great tension release. It's productive, necessary (for me anyway) and I get to pound the sh*t out of something with a eight-pound splitting maul (sort of like an axe). It's actually quite good exercise as well...

I don't like to exercise for just the sake of exercise. I like to get work done in the process of getting exercise....whether it's cutting or splitting wood, tending the garden, working on the house, etc. I live sort of rough, low-tech, homestead type of life and I realize not everyone is in this same situation....but peaceful, insular, introspective exercise is probably the best thing going for dealing with stress, both mentally and physically.

Then, when the work is done and the sun has dipped behind the wetern hill, I sit down and enjoy a pint or two.

The choice on what to do was kind of limited and though i chose i'd talk to someone, at least I never manage to talk... Its more like bursting out in hysterics while blurting out the first things that come out of my mind, be it how upset i am or death treaths to whoever is upsetting you that moment... Also a good stress releif is Poetry and Painting... I do both continuously! Its amazing how mind freeing writing a poem about how you feel can make you get better, or painting a lovely painting of your current thoughts! its worth a try whenever...and the thing is you dont normally have to be much good at it, while stressed out things come out naturally! its worth a try ;p

I like going near the water like on a boat. It has a soothing affect.

I bought one of those table top water fountains a few days ago and It seems to help a bit. The only downfall listening to it is that it makes you wanna take a leak every half hour.
But it seems that water is the best calming techniouqe. I wonder if we originaly came from near water. Even laying in the tub relaxes people.
Instead of apes we evolved out of sharks. haha , I dont know any white people that climb trees but know a ton who love the water. hmmmmmmm?
