Post Re: Your Best And Worst Subjects in School

My best subject was probably English, and even though I was truant for about 3-4 months of my Higher Grades, I still managed to get the highest grade in my class (one of only two who passed)

I also had a real flair for Chemistry, which was suprising since Maths was hardly my strong point.

I was also fairly good at Geography

As for worst subjects, that would have to be Maths and Physics.
Maths doesn't come easily for me and physics is basically just Maths made even more boring (if such a thing were possible ). I mean all that measuring and calculating and effort to arrive at what? A bloody number!

Best subjects: Latin, English, history, religion, sociology, arts (straight A)

Worst: Maths, physics, chemistry, biology (C or D)
And all my youth passed by sad-hearted,
    the joy of Spring was never mine;
Autumn blows through me dread of parting,
and my heart dreams and longs to die.

    - Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850)

Real misanthropes are not found in solitude, but in the world; since it is experience of life, and not philosophy, which produces real hatred of mankind.

I was extremely bored with school and hated it with a passion, but to be honest, I was good in every subject. Especially phys-ed.

Best subject this year: International Relations (I'm getting straight A+'s)
    Worst subject this year: Maths.

I generally do brilliant in humanities but I have a strong aversion to maths.
All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream at night, in the dusky recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity. But the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams, with open eyes, to make it possible.

Post Re: Your Best And Worst Subjects in School

My best subjects have always been Social Studies,Civics,Geography,Reading and Writing, art and music.
    my worst subjects:Mathematics,Anything sciene related.

For some reason, I don't know why, but most people tell me I am good at mathematics, they explain me and I catch the way it works quick, I just can't remember it.
Just close your eyes...can you remember
The generations not so long ago
I feel the shameless urge that we must restore
Our former king to his rightful throne
And with me lords and maidens
We wait for the chosen son's return

    I come alive
    It's a time for celebration
    Our will to restore
Make our past become the futre once more

Still he lives! 2000 years have passed
And still we're yearning for his return
    We fulfill a wishful prohecy
    And so the chanting begins
Hail Caesar...Hail Caesar...we render unto you
    What is still yours

Same with me...Although, I never made the effort to get high marks in any subject (even my favorites). I was content with C's and D's, just so long as I could participate on the various sports teams with which I was affiliated.

But if I had to choose my best subjects, or rather my favorite ones, I would say English, Art and P.E.

The subjects I was the least proficient in were the Sciences...Not because of lack of ability, but because I found them boring and useless for my particular interests. I especially hated Physical Science.

"Nature! We are surrounded and embraced by her:
powerless to separate ourselves from her, and powerless to penetrate beyond her.

Without asking, or warning, she snatches us up into her circling dance, and whirls us on until we are tired, and drop from her arms." - Goethe
