Classify this guy. Also see if you can guess which countries he has ancestry from. (And, if you happen to recognize who he is, don't spoil it.)

He looks kind of finnish, he looks nordic and east baltic, from a first glance. I think I'll analyze him a little more though...
The guy is definantly "nordish", no doubt. He's got that peculiar head shape...the name is right on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember it. Rhomid? Something like that.
I'm going to say the guy is basically Nordic, but mixed with SOMETHING to give him the large frame/build he most likely has. I almost want to agree with NP88, but I'm going to say it's not EB. I'll say Brunn.
So, Nordic with a Brunn admixture. Not Anglo-Saxon or Tronder, though. Some people seem confused and think that if a guy is Nordic + Brunn he is therefore AS or Tronder, when in actuality AS and Tronder are distinct types which do not magically appear in people who have a Nordic mother and Brunn father (or what not).
The small forehead and long face is Neo Med. He looks very generalized "Nordish" of an indistinct type.
I'm going to say mostly Brünn, maybe with Nordic or Fälisch admixture?
Definitely some Brunn action goin on here. Hard to tell from just a frontal shot but there seems to be a decent set of browridges. Also, he has that deep-setedness to his eyes which, coupled with the fatty depostis over the eyes, leads to the median eye-folds which are clearly visible. His rugged mandible and thicker nose also point in a UP direction.
I'd say that there is also a Nordic element at work. His forehead, especially just above the outer edges brows has that pinched in look that is common in Nordic folk. Can't tell the slope of the forehead but it appears that there is at least some slope....
Mostly Brunn, touch of Nordic.
Seems like most folks are in general agreement here...
His ancestry could come from many sources across NW, N & NE Europe.
The one thing that most points towards east baltic is his eye color. The color is extremely "washed out" as seen in east baltics.
The forehead and chin length point towards nordic but the facial compression says east baltic. His nose seems like an intermediate between nordic and east baltic noses. But I guess that would really depend on where he and his ancestors are from. I wouldn't totally eliminate the possibility of UP blood also being in him.

Yes, that's a good point. The grayish colored eyes are found more often in NE Europe. Interestingly enough, my eyes are sort of a pale grayish green but I have no know NE European ancestry.
Only a "possibility of UP blood"? Come on, the guy is plenty rugged enough to be largely UP. Besides, EBs, which you classify him as, are partly a UP product...
He's John Sununu, Republican senator from New Hampshire, and he's of Christian Palestinian-Lebanese heritage.
The Green eyes threw me off big time.
