And what exactly Uzbekistan has to do with Turkey? (Don't tell me they both speak an Altaic language, I know that already) The people being discussed here are -as far as I got the drift- the people of Turkey, not Turkic people in general. Turanid element is indeed considerably strong in Uzbeks, Tajiks and even the Kyrgiz. But do you know how long it takes to go from Ankara to Tashkent? That said, even the Uzbeks have a substantial Iranian element, having shared a geography for ages. Even the Azeris are not Turanid by majority.

However, as an Alevi Turkish nationalist (which is quite rare I must say, I'm highly amused) who lives in Germany I'm sure you know better than the people who have actually lived in Turkey or have made scientific research concerning its population. Impressive.

History shows the Turks to be a mixed people more so then say the British or the Danes.I think Turkishness and etnicity cannot be confused.Racially speaking the Turks at there root are a mix of arabid/turanid/europid/armenid with a lot of other elements thrown in.The original turkmen people were absorbed into the races living in anatolia at the time of the first wave of invasions and in turn those races absorbed Turkman culture and became Turks. When I visited Olu-Deniz this summer I noticed the majority of Turks would not be out of place in Syria or lebanon while there are small elements that look Turanid and European proper.Of course thats just my own personal observation To talk of a turkish race is a bit silly really. One must talk proper of being Turkish in a languistic, cultural and indeed even religious sense.

As a side note, the Alevites are associated with the angel-worshipping Yezidis, who are an Iranian minroity with a religion related to the origins of Zoroastrianism...

They worship Lucifer. I met one Yezidi and he explained that they believe God forgave him.

The Turanid race seems like a pretty diverse collection of people.

BTW I have seen that "Turaniden" picture plate posted here before. What book is it taken from, and what are the ethnicities of the human examples shown? This one is rather handsome:

I appreciate this thread of yours, it's magnificent to hear from REAL Turkish nationalists who lives in Germany. It's a very refreshing and innovative concept.

I think that nationalism would flourish if all nationalists immigrated from their countries to some richer foreign country. Perhaps, one day, Turkey will be a refuge for the best and brightest among Germans, just as today Germany and German nationalists welcome with open hands Turkish nationalists.

Sometimes I cry when I imagine German and Turkish nationalists joining hands and singing along, under a sunny, rainbow German sky.
No, we and comrade Köroglu usually attend summer solstice and Yule celebrations and sing old German and Turkish songs in a circle around the fire.
You have to know, they built up Germany after (if not already even during) WW2 while we natives only relaxed in our hammocks. Because of them our schoolyards now are oases of peace and women can take walks in the dark without the need for pepper spray or a pitbull. Tired of walking afoot? Take the subway. The Turkish security there will guarantee for your comfort. Lost your bicycle? Mustaffa has exactly your model, maybe the serial number on the frame is a bit unreadable but who cares? Disappointed with your local kindergarten? These playgrounds under Turkish rule are the perfect alternative to give your kids the best education possible for a career at the lock and key service or in the debt-collecting business.
And who doesn´t enjoy the smell of Döner Kebab, weeks beyond the expiration date, when walking through the city?
Tolerance is a proof of distrust in one's own ideals. Friedrich Nietzsche
