He is predominantly Nordic with Alpine/UP. Atlanto med and the like may be there on a lower level, but we should not classify primarily based on pigmentation.
Leonardo Di Caprio is not too different from him. South German look.

If someone is 1/2 North German and 1/2 South Italian, or 1/2 South German and 1/2 North Italian, I would say they've probably got a Swiss look, although this is without the French factor and may not entirely represent the average West Alpine. On the other hand, if someone is 1/2 South German and 1/2 South Italian I will say they're North Italian, so if they're 1/2 North German and 1/2 North Italian, I would say they're South German. Simple.
If you can believe England is more Nordic than Scotland, why is it so hard for you to comprehend that Swiss Germans are more Nordic than South Germans?
There is no Swiss look, anyway, any more than there is a Belgian look, as Switzerland is not a nation state. But many of the Swiss look very Nordic, compared to south Germans, which don't do quite as often. Christian Luscher is an example of this.

By the way, I noticed that Taylor Fritz has a similar look, eyebrows and hairline to Friedrich Paulus, and they both seem to combine Nordic and Alpine elements, with some possible Med substratum.
I made a mistake in proportions. Swiss average would have influences like this: 1st Aleman, 2nd Burgundian, 3rd Lombard and 4th...whatever tribe Romansh comes from--maybe Heruli? I wouldn't want to get carried away with comparisons.
Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria are the major Alpine countries, populated by Aleman and Bavarian German folks. If they're part of the same blood and culture despite political differences, why would their phenotypes not mesh organically?
So...maybe you're saying non-Alemans are Nords; making Alemans Alpines, Burgundians the Nords and Lombards the Meds? How does it make sense? I'm not interested in the phenotypes of Switzerland, but like to understand claims.
I was comapring Fritz's features to Di Caprio and a predominantly Mediterranean Brazilian.
There is no way that Fritz is truly West Med or Atlanto Med. "Atlantid" has to be most overused classification out there. Anybody who looks gracile, somewhat Western and is not blonde is called "Atlantid" of sorts.
But a true classification cannot be based primarily off pigmentation, but rather morphology.
Di Caprio is predominantly Hallstatt with some considerable UP, likely Phalian admixture.
Fritz appears to be for the most part similar, with the brunette element being low level Med or Alpine.
There is also a resemblance to Field Marshal Paulus, specially in the proportions/midface (Alpine influence?)
Congratulations on beating Nadal yesterday for an important ATP tournament win! Nadal was deemed 75%+ likely to win and Spanish tennis has a much higher level than American.
It took a lot of effort and the crowd was with Nadal instead of the home player. Thanks for the betting money!

Reviewing more pictures of Fritz and Kaka, I am beginning to think he is more similar facially to him than Di Caprio.

Fritz seems to be more of a "Northernized Kaka," with a finer nose and eyes more shaped like a Nordic, than a Nordic proper.
I change my classification to predominantly Atlanto Med, with Nordic and Alpine/UP admix.
And I will never in my entire life use the word "Atlantid."![]()
