Aesthetics of Court Livery and Folk Costume

    https://www.thetasteofgermany.com/al...bs-11-2-fl-oz/

About 12 hours ago, I drank Almdudler for the first time and saw this on its can:

Other than naturally enjoying my refreshment, I was initially taken aback by the imagery employed. Does anybody else see what looked immediately to me like a Spanish or Mexican fashion? My theory is that Habsburgs developed a similar aesthetic throughout their realms, as a sort of livery and this was adopted by the commons. The most telltale sign is in the hats worn, as I can envision them fitted with fringe as the figures dance with castanets.

Very cute drawing. These traditional images inspire more credibility in the product. It seems like it has been in production for so many years and the like. Not a bad marketing ploy.
