    Classify Alex Kashuta

The new rising kween of the online Dissident Right. She has a podcast on Patreon, called 'Subversive w/ Alex Kaschuta', which is pretty good, and is also quite active on Twitter.

By her own account, she's Transylvanian German, born in Romania, but with "ties to Hungarian, Polish and Romanian Catholicism". The latter might be indicative of ethnic lineage, or merely adopted cultural inheritance in her lineage.

Don't know how typical the surname 'Kaschuta' is among ethnic Germans. Sounds kind of Slavic to me. Possibly related to the Slavic/Baltic surname 'Kaszuba/Kashuba/Kašuba'.

I'm thinking along the lines of a North-Pontid and Borreby mix. But I'm not too familiar with the former phenotype.

Kashuta is apparently most common in the Ukraine and Tanzania so I'm guessing two parallel etymologies. The European one seems Slavic but that doesn't necessarily mean anything about this woman's heritage. I can definitely see Pontid and Borreby.

She looks like one of those blonde Ashkenazim. I guess there might be Pontid influences, but I too find SE Europe very difficult to understand.

You might be right. She does remind me of (((Lauren Simonsen))).

Does Lauren even have any Jewish ancestry? 'Simonsen' would be a perfectly normal name for a goy in Denmark.

Based on the "sch" in the name and the overall sound I'd say it's a Germanised Slavic name, yes.

From this, rather bizarre, interview I found:
a blonde of the central European mystery meat category - I'm German, Hungarian, Romanian, Polish & Czech
As for classification, probably Norid and Gorid.
