    Thought-provoking music?

As we know, there are virtually no changes for preservationist music to succeed into the mainstream. Thus many of it´s potential audience will remain unreached, especially with straight-forward approach.

What about the mainstream then? Rammstein is in my opinion a good example of surviving in the pc market yet somehow managing to conjure up un-pc thoughts. I guess just about anything today that does NOT promote multiculti can be considered positive, and if some bits of a message has been included even better. Do you know such bands that could reach average people with their music?

As an example of what I meant, here are lyrics to one song which has enjoyed quite a much
playing time on mainstream radio here. Propably due to the albums "top 10" success.

    Kotiteollisuus: Minä Olen (I am)

    Joku vaihtaa öisin lähikauppojemme nimiä
Someone changes the names of our corner stores at night
äidit synnyttävät lapsia, joiden puhetta emme ymmärrä
Mothers give birth to children whose speech we can not understand
kuka hiippailee pois Suomi-neidon aitan liepeiltä
Who sneaks away from the barn of Finnish-Maiden?
neidon, jonka kupeet huokuvat nyt ikuista kylmyyttä
the Maiden whose loins spread eternal cold now

Ja sen mies, Jussi, seisoo yksin suon laidalla
And her husband, Jussi, stands alone on the edge of a swamp
on kuokka pudonnut, räkä valuu hikisellä poskella
The hoe has fallen from his hands, mucus runs on a sweaty cheek
eikä mies tiedä mitä tehdä, mihin mennä nyt
And the man does not know what to do, where to go now
on sillä kylmä, kylmä kuten sisälläni on
He´s cold, as cold as inside of me

Mutta minä olen ja elän ja hengitän
But I am, live and breath
    yhtä suurta jumalaa, Elämänhalua
one great god, the Will to live
    sen temppeleinä toimivat kapakat, ilotalot
As his temples serve taverns, brothels,
    markkinat, marketit, kaupunkien värivalot
    fairs, markets the colourful citylights

Katson ulos ikkunasta, en näe iloa täällä
I look out the window, I don´t see joy here
    levinneitä hiekkalaatikoita, räkäisiä lähikapakoita
    Broken sandboxes, messy cornerpubs
joista yksinhuoltajat raahaavat yhden yön Toivoja
from where the single parents drag their one-night hopes
jotka poistuvat aamulla ennen kuin lapset heräävät
who leave in the morning before the children wake up

Anna minulle kätesi, anna lupaus huomisesta
Give me your hand, give me a promise of tomorrow
lupaa, etten yksin jää tähän kylmään elämään
Promise me that I won´t be left alone in this cold life
tähän päivään, jossa kaikuvat patsaiden jylhät äänet
To this day in which the majestic voices of statues echoe
jossa syntynyt kulkee kuolleena etsien hautapaikkaansa
where a newborn wanders dead, seeking it´s grave

    Niin kaunis on kuunsirppi
    how beautiful is the crescent
Niin raikas on syksyn sateen jälkeinen tuoksu!
how fresh does the air smell after a autumn rain!

Kuka täällä komentaa, ketä täällä totellaan
Who commands here? Who are obeyed here?
kahta suurta jumalaa, Ahneutta ja Rahaa
Two great gods, Greed and Money
joiden temppeleinä toimivat pörssit ja ilotalot
as whose temples serve the stock-exchanges and brothels
    markkinat, marketit, kaupunkien värivalot
    fairs, markets, the colourful citylights
Mutta minä olen ja elän ja hengitän
But I am, live and breath
    yhtä suurta jumalaa, Elämänhalua
one great god, the Will to live
    sen temppeleinä toimivat kapakat, ilotalot
As his temples serve taverns, brothels
    markkinat, marketit, kaupunkien värivalot
    fairs, markets, the colourful citylights

Not exactly brilliant, but has curious details..

    BELBORN:

    V. CHOR DER TOTEN (CHOIR OF THE DEAD): we / the dead / are the greater army / than you upon the earth / than you upon the sea / we plowed the field with patient deeds / you are swinging the sickle and cutting the seed / what we have completed/ and what we started / still fills the rushing wells up there / all our loving and hating and quarreling / still pounds in mortal veins up there / and what valid principles we have found / all earthly change will stay bound to this / our sounds / creations / poetry / winning the laurel in glorious light / we continue to search for the human goals / so honour and make sacrifices / because we are many !!!

III. VERBLUTET (BLED TO DEATH): since my homeland was dear / I went to war / to drench the earth with blood / and as I stabbed and thrashed / for our victory / the love went / and only hate stayed / my heart beat wildly / in every battle / my heart beat wildly / even in the night / often I awoke / in the dark hours / only seldom would I dream / often I thought / about my loved ones far away / and what I have missed so far / my heart beat loudly / in every battle / my heart beat loudly / even in the night / in the snow at twighlight / the battlehorn sounded / the enemy outnumbered us / we did not want to surrender / we threw ourselves ahead / the end of my choice / my blood cried out loud / in this battle / my blood cried out loud / I was killed !!!

XII. SÖHNE DER SONNE, TÖCHTER DES MORGENS, KINDER DES LICHTS (SONS OF THE SUN, DAUGHTERS OF MORNING, CHILDREN OF LIGHT):
we died for you / we are waiting for a tomorrow / we fought for a tomorrow (we are the dead) !!!

    ..Just examples

BELIEVE EVERYTHING - BELIEVE NOTHING !!!

    BECOME GOD !!!

    Oh, far away
    There lies a dream
    We're all seeking
    It's locked away
    The key hangs near
    Our hands are tired

    And far away
    In darkest days
    We are living
    I call your name
    Too wrapped in lies
    You don't hear me

    So far away
    Near shores of deep
    Empty oceans
    There lies the pearl
    There lies the dream
    And our conscience

    We'll rise above
We'll rise above all the killing
    We'll rise above
    We'll rise above
    while you're sleeping

    Still far away
    There lies a dream
    We're all seeking
    Still locked away
    The key hangs near
    Our hands are tired

    We'll rise above
    We'll rise above
    While you're sleeping
    We'll rise above
We'll rise above all the killing

What about this song by "Ostara"?

    Bavaria
    I see you selling flowers
    In the Springtime of decay,
    I see you painting idols
While the Muses turn to grey,
    And on your bleak horizons
    Above the bright domain,
    The buried soul of Europe
    Alive beyond the breathing grave,
I'll meet you here in Bavaria,
    In fear you'll burn forever,
I'll meet you here in Bavaria,
    In dreams we'll live forever,
This is how we see the world,
    Shining, burning,
See how the truth divides us
    In the mercury of pain,
See how the truth reminds us
Of the blindness that we face,
To suffer for the love of life,
    Sweetness in your cruel embrace,
    Intimations of mortality
    The crownless Court of Grace,
    On the steeples high
    Where the swans still glide,
    Imperium, Imperium
    On the steeples high
    Where the nights still shine,
    Imperium, Imperium

    I like this very much.

Also, there are quite some RAC / White Power lyrics which should make people think about the situation. My favourite band in this direction is Squadron. They have some of the best lyrics I have ever listened to!

Very good, Wissen Ist Macht 1:

He went looking for Europe, took love in his hand
With eyes of sunlight, like burning sand
Went to the west, rode to the east
Heard of life and honour, looked into the eyes of the beast
Stood in a city, in the gold house of whores
Said: "I'm looking for Europe", then you're looking for war
Sat on the throne of Arthur, held Boudica's sword
Kissed the flags of the great, beneath the towers so tall
Climbed up the hillside, where the eagle still flies
Said: "I'm looking for Europe", well be ready to cry
He walked to the forest, to the lair of the wolf
Said: "I'm looking for Europe, I'll tell you truth."
Some find it in a flag, some in the beat of a drum
Some with a book, and some with a gun
Some in a kiss, and some on the march
But if you're looking for Europe, best look in your heart

I guess, especialy in the Metal scene (Viking, Pagan and even some Black Metal) there's a huge potential. This kind of music reaches especially the youth and teaches them quite "by the way" some historic facts about their own race and that's important to keep it up and growing. They e.g. set the Edda to music, what makes listening to their sounds to something like a history lesson. By doing so, they enthuse the youth for their history - and for their nordic race.

Not exactly brilliant, but has curious details..
It seems to be the entire "scene" created by the success of Trio Niskalaukaus, Kotiteollisuus, Viikate etc, that includes bands like Mokoma, Ruoska, Rautakello, Stam1na etc etc is really a (perhaps partly unconscious) way of subtle resistance to political correctness and multikulturalism. The popularity of these groups, in my opinion, is proof that people in this country still have a desire for music that expresses (even though the message must be buried between the lines) some pride in one's heritage and nation. In my opinion it is not inconceivable that an openly nationalist musical act in this country could someday achieve some kind of mainstream success.

I also think it is a very positive sign that these bands all have a very healthy gender ratio in their audiences, despite the fact that they all have a very masculine imago and play music that fits that image. As someone who is constantly looking for more expressions of robust masculinity in our culture, I'm sure you have noticed this also. -smil

I have also noticed that most (white-)man hating, multikulti females feel an almost visceral dislike towards these groups, especially Niskalaukaus -- which of course is a major endorsement.

Another thing that I like about these groups is that they don't really form a "sub-culture" -- they are not exclusive or elitist. This is of course partly because of their success, but still, unlike most metal groups, these bands don't really place any demands on their listeners regarding lifestyle, worldview or style of dress.

Yes, I have noticed this too. Also the clown band Teräsbetoni (Our domestic version of Manowar minus the muscles) seems to get on their nerves
I guess anything "manly" is just sheer abomination to them "women" who are angry because they were not born men

Yes, that is exactly what I was after. As much as I like all kinds of "eccentric" or "underground" music it does not change the fact that there in the underground they shall stay :frown:

No, not anything -- they only hate White European men. They seem to love, for example, Talebanis or Rastafarians, apparently blissfully unaware of the contradiction in their ideology.
