Tucker: ‘The Country As We Know It Will End’ If Democrats Win

With the Senate now looking likely to stay with Republicans, Tucker Carlson noted Wednesday night that had Democrats inched over the line in that race, as well as gaining the White House, “the country as we know it would have ended”.

Carlson emphasised that the proposals on the table from Democrats would have allowed them to fundamentally change the system of government and have “total control over everything.”

“No more democracy, no more dissent, permanent obedience from the rest of us, and they came shockingly close to getting that,” Tucker urged:

“If Democrats had won the White House and the Senate last night, the country as we know it would’ve ended, not because Democrats have bad ideas — though they do — but because Democrats plan to impose an entirely new system on our country,” the host explained.

“With nothing to check their power, the left fully intended to eliminate the traditional American balances within our government, along with the Constitution and the Bill of Rights that constrain their power,” he continued.

Carlson warned that an effort is ongoing to “create a permanent Democratic majority, a one-party state with complete control of the population.”

“Never in our history has any mainstream political party proposed an agenda more radical than this,” Tucker proclaimed.

“They didn’t talk about it much. There’s a reason for that, of course. They didn’t want to scare you, but it was entirely real — and last night it came really close to happening. We should all be deeply grateful that it didn’t,” Carlson told viewers.

The Senate race remains close, with the GOP holding a total of 48 seats at time of writing and Democrats holding 47. With a majority of 51 needed, it is expected that the GOP will secure it with seats in Alaska, North Carolina and Georgia.

    Trumpism Lives On!

Pat Buchanan, American Renaissance, November 5, 2020

Donald Trump may end up losing the 2020 election in the Electoral College, but he won the campaign that ended on Nov. 3.

Democrats had been talking of a “sweep,” a “blowout,” a “blue wave” washing the Republicans out of power, capturing the Senate, and bringing in an enlarged Democratic majority in Nancy Pelosi’s House.

They visualized the ouster of Trump in a defeat so massive and humiliating that it would serve as an eternal repudiation of the man. And, most intoxicating of all, they believed they would be seen by history as the angels of America’s deliverance.

    It was not to be.

The American electorate failed to perform its designated role in the establishment’s morality play. Indeed, Democrats ended Tuesday night terrified that America had again turned its back on them and preferred Trump to the leaders and agenda they had put forth.

By the campaign’s end, Democrats were freezing the ball and running out the clock.

Consider the immense burdens candidate Trump had to carry.

Early in his reelection year, the nation was struck by the worst pandemic in a hundred years that, by Election Day, would kill nearly a quarter of a million Americans and cause an economic collapse to rival the Great Depression.

Trump had to endure daily the near-universal hatred and hostility of the nation’s academic, media and cultural elites. How hostile is this city to President Trump?

He lost D.C.’s three electoral votes by a margin of 20-1.

Yet, even so burdened, Trump won 3 million more votes in 2020 than he had in 2016, and, as of midnight on Election Day, he seemed headed for victory in the Electoral College.

Giving the energy and effort he put into his campaign — a dozen rallies in the last three days — and the enthusiastic response from the huge crowds, Trump has much to be proud of.

Trump may lose the presidency, but Trumpism was not rejected.

Nor was it repudiated by the people if, by Trumpism, one means “America First” nationalism, securing our borders, using tariffs to bring back our manufacturing base, bidding goodbye to globalism, staying out of unnecessary wars and swearing off ideological crusades.

And if Joe Biden becomes our 46th president, the tenure of office of this visibly frail and enfeebled leader is likely to be among the more abbreviated in American history, and bereft of high achievement.

For Democrats appear to have lost seats in Nancy Pelosi’s House, and, instead of sweeping to power in the Senate to make Chuck Schumer the new majority leader, Senate Democrats appear to have gained only a single seat. As of now, Sen. Mitch McConnell is set to be the gatekeeper to any passage of the Biden-Harris and Sanders-AOC agendas.

Good luck getting something enacted that Mitch McConnell doesn’t like.

As of today, the 2020 election has restored to Senate Republicans veto power over any and all administration legislation, be it liberal, progressive or socialist. This election may have made McConnell the most powerful congressional leader since Lyndon Johnson.

With McConnell leading a GOP majority, Democrats would be unable to end the filibuster or pack the Supreme Court, and the GOP majority would have the power to kill the Biden tax plan, “Medicare for All” and the “Green New Deal.” There will be no statehood and two senators for Puerto Rico or D.C., and no reparations for slavery. Mayors and governors seeking blue state bailouts to avoid defaulting on overdue debts will need McConnell’s blessing.

In times past, there was often comity between the parties, or at least an attempt at comity. In mid-August of 1974, after he took office, President Gerald Ford went before Congress to declare: “I do not want a honeymoon with you. I want a good marriage.”

It was not to be. And in the ideological divide and poisoned politics of this city, there is little likelihood of compromise — or even civility.

    Biden faces other troubles, too.

The worst of the COVID-19 crisis, in terms of cases, hospitalizations and deaths, may be ahead of us. And Democrats will not be able to blame Trump indefinitely. And if their answer is, as Joe Biden has at times indicated, a national “shutdown,” a Biden honeymoon is unlikely to last.

Bottom line: Joe Biden is not going to be the “transformational” president of his imagining. Nor is he going to be the “most progressive president since Roosevelt” as some Democrats have been promising.

    And the reasons are obvious.

FDR had massive Democratic majorities in both Houses of Congress throughout the 1930s. And he won the presidency in 1932 by capturing 57% of the vote and 42 of the 48 states of the Union. In 1936, he carried 46 of 48 states, losing only Maine and Vermont.

Biden has no such mandate and no such power base, and he lacks the natural gifts of FDR. Sorry, but there is no new “Era of Good Feelings” in store for America. To the contrary.

    Amren

Most college educated, white collar people I know just assume there is massive fraud going on. It happens every election, the Democratic controlled counties always report last & they find enough votes to tip close elections.

The local county clerks in those counties are always Democrat. There is no way to know who is receiving those mail-in and absentee ballots. But the fact that on average they go for the Democrat 3-4 and that includes mail-in/absentee ballots statewide says that statistically there is massive fraud going on.

Another assumption by most smart people I know is that within a few months Kamala Harris will invoke the 25th amendment, have Joe Biden declared incompetent/senile and take over.

Trump increased his vote total from 2016 by SEVEN MILLION VOTES but Biden has nearly eight million votes more then Hillary in 2016. Trump's makes sense in that I know a lot of Hillary voters from 2016 who switched to Trump but no living Trump voters crossed over to Biden.

TV networks cut away from Trump’s ‘most dishonest speech’ ever

Cable networks, broadcast networks and Twitter cut short their broadcasts of President Donald Trump’s speech from the White House briefing room Thursday; some outlets fact-checked the president’s unproven statements rather than carry them live.

Trump began his remarks by baselessly claiming that Democrats were committing “fraud” and trying to “steal” the election. “If you count the legal votes, I easily win,” the president said, even though the counting of legal votes is still happening. There are several key states, including Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona, which are still tallying votes. Neither the president nor the Democratic nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, has enough electoral college votes yet to win. Many of those votes are mail-in ballots, including from active military.

MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNBC, and NBC cut away from his speech. It’s not the first time networks have opted not to carry Trump’s remarks live; in March, several ended their live broadcasts of one of the president’s briefings on the coronavirus, after he contradicted his own health experts. While there has been a great deal of focus on how social networks moderate election-related disinformation, there has been less scrutiny on TV news — and the clips it generates usually aren’t moderated by the platforms, even if they contain disinformation.

Shortly after the president began speaking, MSNBC cut away to anchor Brian Williams. “Here we are again in the unusual position of not only interrupting the President of the United States but correcting the President of the United States,” Williams said. “There are no illegal votes that we know of, there has been no Trump victory that we know of.”

ABC cut away to anchor David Muir, who asked reporter Jon Karl to help “discern what he’s talking about,” adding there was “a lot to fact-check.” Karl said there was “simply no evidence that’s been presented in any of these states that there are illegal votes he is talking about something, making an allegation with absolutely no evidence whatsoever.”

CBS cut to anchor Norah O’Donnell and reporter Nancy Cordes for its own fact check. Trump’s numbers dropped as more votes were counted, but as Cordes pointed out, that was what election analysts had expected. The president had told his supporters to vote in person; with in-person votes counted first, the president would appear to be ahead. Mail-in ballots, which would likely skew Democratic, would cause the numbers to shift. “There was no miracle there,” she said.

On CNBC, anchor Shepard Smith said, “We’re interrupting this because what the president of the us is saying in large part is absolutely untrue.”

NBC News anchor Lester Holt said the president had made “a number of false statements, including the notion that there has been fraudulent voting. There has been no evidence of that,” he said.

CNN and Fox News continued to carry the speech live, but CNN reporter Daniel Dale, known for his rigorous fact-checking of the president’s statements, tweeted “I’ve read or watched all of Trump’s speeches since 2016. This is the most dishonest speech he has ever given.”

MSNBC reporter Hayes Brown tweeted that even Twitter had ended the live feed of Trump’s speech in its app, removing the “watch live” option. Twitter didn’t reply to a request for comment Thursday about why it decided to end the feed.

The president’s tweets also were getting fact-checked on Thursday; Twitter flagged eight of his nearly two dozen tweets as “potentially misleading. And both Facebook and TikTok blocked hashtags that were spreading misinformation about “stealing” the election.

Lawsuit: At Least 21K Dead People on Pennsylvania Voter Rolls

There are at least 21,000 dead people on the state of Pennsylvania’s voter rolls, according to an amended lawsuit filed on Thursday.

A lawsuit filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) alleges that there are at least 21,000 dead people on Pennsylvania’s voter rolls. The lawsuit claims that Pennsylvania failed to “reasonably maintain” their voter registration records under federal and state law in time for the 2020 presidential election.

“As of October 7, 2020, at least 9,212 registrants have been dead for at least five years, at least 1,990 registrants have been dead for at least ten years, and at least 197 registrants have been dead for at least twenty years,” the lawsuit states.

“Pennsylvania still left the names of more than 21,000 dead individuals on the voter rolls less than a month before one of the most consequential general elections for federal officeholders in many years,” the lawsuit continues.

According to the lawsuit, about 92 percent of the 21,000 dead people on Pennsylvania’s voter rolls died sometime before October 2019. About 216 dead people show voting credits after federally listed dates of death in 2016 and 2018, the lawsuit alleges.

“This case is about ensuring that those deceased registrants are not receiving ballots,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in a statement. “This case isn’t complicated.” He continued:

For nearly a year, we’ve been offering specific data on deceased registrants to Pennsylvania officials for proper handling ahead of what was expected to be a tight outcome on Election Day. When you push mail voting, your voter list maintenance mistakes made years ago will come back to haunt in the form of unnecessary recipients and nagging questions about unreturned or outstanding ballots.

In May, Pennsylvania election officials admitted that duplicate ballots were mailed out to registered voters. Likewise, Judicial Watch sued Pennsylvania for allegedly having 800,000 inactive voters on their state voter rolls.

The case was filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. The case number is No. 1:20-cv-01905.

U.S. Postal Worker Caught With Stolen Ballots At Canadian Border

A United States postal worker was charged with delay or destruction of mail after Customs and Border Protection intercepted him on the Canadian border on Election Day with a trunk full of absentee ballots.

The charge for Brandon Wilson, 27, of Buffalo, New York, carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

“This Office is committed not only to ensuring the integrity of the mails but also of individuals’ rights to vote in a free and fair election,” stated U.S. Attorney James Kennedy. “The criminal conduct with which this defendant is alleged to have engaged, undermined both of those interests.”

    From Breaking 911:

According to the complaint, on November 3, 2020, at approximately 7:34 p.m., Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officers encountered Wilson, an employee of the United States Postal Service (USPS), at the Peace Bridge Port of Entry.

As part of a standard CBP vehicle sweep, Wilson opened the trunk of his vehicle for CBP Officers. A USPS mail bin containing numerous mail pieces was observed by a CBP officer inside the trunk. CBP officers also observed multiple USPS uniform items bearing the USPS logo along with a USPS identification badge with Wilson’s name.

Wilson stated the mail belonged to him and his mother. However, Wilson could not account for additional names printed on the mail pieces. Wilson further stated that he had intended to deliver the mail and had forgotten to return the mail pieces to the post office.

This comes as numerous USPS whistleblowers have come forward to Project Veritas to reveal that they have been back-dating mail-in ballots after Election Day.

Left-wing Democrats and Never Trump Republicans appealed Friday for assistance in compiling lists of Trump supporters to they could be held “accountable” for supporting President Donald Trump after the election.

“Democratic socialist” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted: “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

Michael Simon, who describes himself as a former staff member in Barack Obama’s administration, replied in the affirmative, linking to what he called the “Trump Accountability Project”:
