A far-left academic at the University of Cambridge whose work has repeatedly demonized white, heterosexual, males, has put forward her idea of a final solution that would save the planet from the scourge of humanity.

Patricia MacCormack, a professor of continental philosophy at the University of Cambridge, has written a book titled ‘The Ahuman Manifesto’ which puts forward the central thesis that we humans must begin to “gradually phasing out our reproduction” in order to save the planet, Cambridgeshire Live reports.

“The basic premise of the book is that we’re in the age of the Anthropocene, humanity has caused mass problems and one of them is creating this hierarchal world where white, male, heterosexual and able-bodied people are succeeding, and people of different races, genders, sexualities and those with disabilities are struggling to get that,” MacCormack told Cambridgeshire Live.

Oddly, despite the book’s central argument, which basically says that in order to save the planet from impending ecological disaster the human race must be eradicated, Cambridgeshire Live’s Alistair Ryder lauded the book’s tone, referring to it as “joyful and optimistic”.

MacCormack is far from the first, kooky, far-left academic to put forward this kind pseudointellectual nonsense. She’s also hardly the first, kooky, far-left academic to use climate theory and her alleged love for animals as a way to establish herself as some kind of moral arbiter.

Last September, Voice of Europe reported on another kooky, far-left professor – this time from Sweden – who proposed that humans ought to rethink cannibalism and begin eating human flesh to save the planet from climate change.
