    Are you buying Christmas gifts?

I'm planning to buy and give this to my dad ... 3 persons chess. Two models available. I like 2. one more.

Now I noticed that a new knife has been published (a wild boar):

My father has all the 7 earlier ones (same animal-serie)

As a knife is still pretty expensive (3 times more than chess game) ... I'll give a wink of it to my mother/grandparents.

Finnish Swede, my choice would be the 3 person chess set. Then you and your parents can all play chess at the same time.

I never learned how to play chess.

For Christmas gifts, I have to buy something for my Mom. I think she prefers cash and then she can buy what she wants.

Yes, I will choose it. It costs about right sum (60euros), knife is 160 euros.
I have never won my father in chess (he is member of chess club). Maybe via 3 persons chess I could still beat him (if I'll make secret coalition with third person) ... LOL.

So you will buy something, or not (as giving cash)?

It's pretty universal among a dying people. I'm in the same boat.
Most people think as they are trained to think, and most people make a majority.

Dying people? Him (48) or you are not yet that old. Or did you mean your blood line and not you as a person?

They says that year's biggest celebrations a'la Christmas, New Year, Eastern, Midsummer etc. are the worst time for lonely people. By then their own situation will really be concretised.

I think he means his blood line. Me too. I don't have any children.

Valentines Day is also a sad day in the USA for lonely single people.

I asked my mom what she wants for Christmas and she said not to buy her anything, she just wants her/our bills paid down. So that means cash. She did say she would like to go out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'd rather stay home. I prefer ordering a pizza.

I'm talking about ALL of us. You're an only child, right? Me too. If we all don't start having bigger families, there will be nothing left.
