I'm not from Australia, but the raging bush fire is, sadly, very real. I also read where a lot of Koala bears perished in the inferno.

"From the Davidson Rural Fire Brigade, based in North Sydney and assisting with the current fires in New South Wales:

"Some heartbreaking stories coming out of yesterday’s fire activity on the Mid-North Coast. This dash cam footage from one of our trucks shows the extremely challenging fire behaviour and terrain crews were faced with, in this instance, while attempting to reach remote properties to search for people. The water can see streaming down the windscreen is our ‘overrun’ sprays, designed to prevent the truck from catching fire itself in such situations."

Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

These bushfires happen every other year. Some of the bad ones are memorialized (Ash Wednesday).

Eucalyptus trees are highly flammable, and can explode when on fire. The fires can spread at such high speeds because of this that they take people completely by surprise and engulf them. Truly terrifying.

Not for those who are calling climate change as a hoax (or don't care about it).
They more like ''needs'' to think: Aussies are getting what they deserves.

I’m not sure I understand your last point, but to the first: I know these bushfires have been a recurring issue for at least 40 years. Not sure if it is related to the climate changing. It’s possible the expansion of population has led to these becoming a more noted phenomenon (Australia’s population growth is among the highest in the western world).

Generally speaking? One kind of mix of these I suppose. You either care about it (and the outcomes) or not ... and add that so called own navel-gazing?

I know, they just have become more common, bigger and more difficult to control (even as technologies have developed) than earlier. Just like hurricanes in USA etc. ...

The fires in the Noosa river area ore only 50km North of where I live and are a direct result of the protection of "natural habitat"! When the White Man arrived 230 years ago the Australia they found was "cultured forest" maintained by the aboriginal people, as was North America. The new arrivals expected it to stay that way of its own accord even after wiping out 70% of the aboriginal people with disease and then banishing the remainder to reservations!
The surviving Aboriginal tribes that still function using traditional lore are offering to teach the "Illegal Immigrants" how to maintain the Australian forests so as to return the surviving forest back to the way they were when they arrived, at last "White Australians" are taking the offer seriously.
Eucalypt fires are very dangerous, fires are driven by wind and the hot air of the fire front vapourises the Eucalyptus oil from the leaves and this behaves like a "gas leak", the air for sometimes hundreds of metres explodes, its always fatal!
