    We have Jónsson, Johansson, Gustafsson, Magnusson, and Axelsson, the rest is not Icelandic. We would have Eiríkur instead of Erik, Sveinn instead of Sven, no Peter, but Pétur, and so on.

    I have relatives whose family name is one of those 5 Swedish names above .... but that is not our/my family name. So my name would always expose that I'm immigrant in Iceland.
    Good to know in any cases.
