Ravens and crows, because they're so personable and intelligent. I adore them!

Wild or domestic, felines fascinate me:

Oh, lots of animals. My lists would absolutely be too long to write down here ...

But one animal causes me always positive feelings as I see it (especially at the spring time). It basically shows that summer has finally arrived here in Northernmost part of Europe.

Common Swift (Apus apus). One of the fastest bird (hawks & falcons dives are not really ''flying'').

Unfortunately common swift has very weak and short feet (for example it can not walk). If young bird leaves from its nest too early and drop on the land ... it will die 100%! Common swift parents can not feed/help it anymore as common swifts can not land and get back to flying again. Basically they hunt (insects/bugs), eats, mates and even sleeps in the air (as flying). They always make their nest high places so they can leave (just drop on their wings) easily from there.

I have saved (picked up) one young bird and we transported it closest wild animal rescue institution. It ate a lot mincemeat (tiny spots which I gave it with matchstick). A bit honeywater and pulverized egg's shell.

Thats what I thought but apparently there are nocturnal birds and I saw one during the day that makes that same sound.
It's one of those mysteries of life. I want to know if thats a bat or a bird.

I don't think it's an owl. It makes a repetitive peeping sound. They bird I saw making that sound looks a like like that swift actually.
