Reliable books about Germanics and European history?

    Greetings everyone,

recently, I wanted to start doing more research about my European background in general. But as some of you may know (or haven't realized yet) governments today and media are pushing an agenda of rewriting history in favour of what is politically correct and multicultural. Thus, I want to gather as much information as possible regarding our own history before it gets rewritten again. I would like to do this in an holistic approach, meaning that I want to include not only Germanic but also all European ethnic groups.

I don't want to do research based on recent sources. I think modern historians are anti-european somehow (of course, I'm open to be proved wrong on that ). So, in the most humble manner, I ask for help from the collective knowledge of the community of Skadi by suggesting or providing sources and references (preferably old or considered classical) regarding the history of Europe and its people.

I hope to publish some of essays of my research here as soon as possible, as a contribution to the preservation of our heritage.

Thank you for reading. Wish you all a great day!
