Poll: Americans & Europeans Say “Better Food” is Biggest Benefit of Immigration

Americans and Europeans say “better food” is the biggest benefit of immigration, while “crime” and a drain on the welfare system are the biggest downsides according to a new survey.

The YouGov study was conducted last year but the results were just released.
In nearly all the countries surveyed, respondents said “better food” was the biggest advantage of mass immigration, outweighing contributions to culture, local businesses and economies, local communities, music and sport.

When asked what ‘harm’ immigration has caused, most said an increase in crime or the cost that migrants who go on welfare has had on the economy.
Most respondents in Sweden, which has taken in large numbers of “refugees” since 2015, were particularly concerned about “crime” and “security”.

Americans were concerned slightly more over the drain on the welfare system than crime, while in Britain a large number of respondents were also worried about the impact immigration has on the affordability of housing.

“If only there was some way to make ethnic food without bringing nearly two million people into the country (legally and illegally) ever year and getting all those downsides,” commented Chris Menahan.

Indeed, in other something that does not require immigration to begin with is the biggest contribution of immigration. Since we could just as well make those foods if needed. And also funny it the one concrete thing immigration-fanatics bring up the most when mentioning the so called benefits of large scale immigration.

Fun fact: Kebab was invented in Germany by early guest workers, outside Antalia or other tourist centres it is difficult to even get one in Turkey

Stuffing meat into bread (Fish Buns, Frikandeln in buns, Hot Dogs, you name it, even Currywurst comes with bread) is genuinely European, I don't see how we would need immigrants for that. All the middle eastern "specialities" (falafel is sort of okayish, else?), no thanks. I once was in a Lebanon restaurant, the table was overladen with all sorts of stuff which I cant even remember, but I never felt like going again, just doesnt fly with me.

Although I must confess that I like Asian food, but I cook this myself. I'm grateful to the importer who brings fine Yasmin rice and original green Thai currypaste, red Indian currypaste, cocos milk and the other weird stuff one needs for that. Another fun fact: German passion importer because he was unhappy about the fake crap of some companies (Bamboo garden f.e.) they sell here as "Asian" food, so he found some quality producers. But import is not immigration. We do trade with China for like 3000 years, it never required immigration, let alone mass immigration, for that.
