    Time has become faster

The old adage that when you get older then time goes faster... i don't think that applies anymore.
Time has really speeded up/sped up in the last 5 years or so. It's absolutely amazing to think that a week ago, seems like yesterday. Something like the 1960's seems like a century ago.

    Just my thoughts.

Early 40's, but it's of course my opinion. Others might see it differently.

    Early 40's
Well this would explain why you perceive time as being faster.

It's a well-known phenomenon, past a certain age, and is the reason why older people tend to use the expression "how time flies!" far more often than younger ones.

There's a scientific explanation for it too. It shouldn't be that difficult to find on the www.

A psychology professor once explained this phenomenon.

When we're young, things happen that are entirely new to us, which demands more attention. A year when you're, say, nine years old will seem very eventful because you're occupied with new things, and looking back at the year it will seem full of unique events, hence "long".

As we get older, our days become routine. We don't have to pay attention. The days seem to dissolve into one chunk of uniform time.

So, if time seems to move faster, it's likely because you've gotten used to most things that life throws your way by now.
