The aging rate of the body directly depends on the lifestyle. Some who have been in sports for decades look 45 at 60. I admire and motivate such people. To keep my muscles in good shape, I try to exercise daily (intense workouts 3 times a week) so that there is no protein deficiency, I constantly take protein. I prefer Optimum Nutrition - the best sports nutrition manufacturer for me. The product is well absorbed and the flavoring additives are not chemical. There are reviews of other proteins here, if you wish, you can try another one.

Looking at it in the moment, I wouldn't want to live to the point where I would no longer be able to take care of myself. By that point I will have done everything in my life needing my attention, so what is really the point of continuing on into your 90's and then maybe into your 100's when you won't be able to do anything anymore?

Now, I don't mainly view it with this kind of pessimism in mind, and people do have fair arguments for it. The older generation can provide wisdom down to the younger generation, and take the time to really appreciate what he or she has accomplished in life, cherishing it all the while. Though, not everyone is the same; the more that people get older (beyond their 50's and so on), the more they gain wisdom and experience, and the more they mature. Not everyone remains mature, though. Some old people's brains will inevitably degrade and age backwards into a more childlike state, becoming immature and irrational in the process. This is mainly what I'm scared of becoming, as I have witnessed it with one of my grandparents - time will tell.

My views could undoubtedly change as I get older, and maybe I'll know better of age when and if I get there.

Limbaugh, who passed away recently, said on his radio show that his one regret of growing old was that his friends and family would also grow old, get ill, etc. - and pass away. Ironic.
