Just get yourself an old Strong's concordance you can find out for yourself.
Its meaning is quite clear. It means to be rosy or to blush.
I've known people that have gone through the Bible word by word to check
    the meanings.

    Red, eh?
So, the original israelites were the amerindians?
By the pricking of my thumbs,

SaxonPagan did already and considers it "bollox"

Sorry but as soon as I read that Germans come from the lost tribe of Levi I just dismissed this as part of the ongoing disinformation campaign, in keeping with such nonsense as the 'Out of Africa' theory

The Mormons (a powerful Christian sect in the Western USA) already made that claim part of their religion:

When the Mormons first emerged in 1830s America, Constantine Samuel Rafinesque, a Christian polymath of French-German heritage, attacked them for their “singular but absurd opinion that American tribes are descended from the Hebrews or the ten lost tribes.” (Atlantic Journal and Friend of Knowledge, vol. 1, 1833). Strange as it sounds today, such notions of ancestry were widespread among British and American Christians of the time.

According to the Bible, the Assyrians of the eighth century B.C.E. exiled 10 of the original “twelve tribes” from their land in the northern kingdom of Israel. Many prominent Americans, such as William Penn and Elias Boudinot, believed that they ended up in America.

This belief is known today among historians as the Jewish Indian theory. The theory persisted for centuries because it addressed a religious desire and theological anxiety to link the New World (America) to the Old (biblical) World. The fact that America was not part of the biblical cosmography posed major theological problems for many American Christians. Simply put, if America was not mentioned in the Bible, how could it properly be “under God”? This anxiety about the biblical status of the American continent plagued many generations of US citizens. And they sought comfort in the idea that the lost tribes had come to these shores centuries ago. The idea both linked America to the Bible and accounted for the origins of America’s native peoples.

British Israelism & Mormon ideas about Jewish Redskins are part of the same underlying phenomenon - White Americans have had a fascination with the Jewish Old Testament since the birth of the New England colonies.

Interresting, I kew from that one South Park episode that they considered that the Indians where originally white. But not that they also consider them to be of the lost tribes.

It's best to use common sense with topics like these. The bible, old and new testament, are full of nonsense, stolen myths from other pre-christian religions and fairy tales which are awfully outdated and debunked a thousand times.

Some claim the bible is a true historical book and there are jewish as well as Christian "experts" and archaeologists doing their very best to put everything in perspective, even when it doesn't make any sense, for them is a 'sort of truth' which they view as the absolute truth.

This is, like Groenewolf already said, plain pseudoscience!

    Arrow Old Testament Astronomy

My question always is and was where did the 12 tribes go and end up? It is a Biblical fact with no specifics.
The Twelve Tribes are the Astronomical Constellations (of the Hebrews).

It is actually "easy" to understand the "Bible Code" , for people able to navigate "old school" .
The tribes in the Bible are scattered , and listed not in some sort of apparent order (chaotic ordering) .

The 13th Sign is the small Tribe of the Levites : Plejades .

There should be 24 tribes , because there are always people born or begat during
the transition of the Sun or Moon from one Constellation into the next Constellation .

The Old Testament is the Astronomical and Astrological Heritage of the Jews !

Non-Jews should take the Bible as Philosophical Advice ,
but since the Bible is in contradictionary of it's own content ,
there is no Legal Positivsm , some straight direction .

The Bible is just some entertaining literature , only worth to be
maintained by Jews , because it is their heritage !

And for the Christians : Paulus had been a Jew , who lied , when
writing , that Haggai would be the Mount Sinai : The mount can
not walk around to find water to feed Ismael , so that he grows again .

The Mount can not be driven out by the Thunderstorm of Sarai .

Abram , the Heaven , married to the Hurricane Sarai , and married to the Wind Haggai ,
and the swift breeze carries the Cloud Ismeal on her shoulder , and the cloud vanishes
for some time , and will be fed again by moisture and water , and grow again , while the
wind wanders around to find water and moisture .

Therefore the Bible is children's book ,
    with some truth inside .

The Jews have the credit , that they used a preservable scripture ,
that was able to survive several millenials ,
to teach their children reading and writing , some very important
    abillities to administer a group and for the merchant trade ;
and 'Master' writes similar to 'Merchant' : In Germany a Master
of a Handycraft has also the rights to Merchant Trades .

As the Old Testament says : You will build a house (real dwelling, or ideology)
and some other man will live therein ,
you will be the tail, and the for(a)eigner the head (Master) .

Extreme Constellations are remarkable , and are noted more often ,
    than the hidden infrared or ultra-violet Constellations or Signs ;
but since 'violence' is written similar like 'violet' , there might be
"Gods" living among you , who are unrecognized .

Simeon writes similar to 'Sem' : Aries !

Abram Noah : Blue Star of Spica (Virgo) , married to Libra
Abram becomes Abra•Ham due to precession of the StarSky : Leo with the blue star 'Regulus' ,
the Leo also being the ark ship's bow , and Virgo the ark's stern .

Ham is the constellation of Leo, married to Cancer .

Jaffet is Gemini and married to Taurus .

Sem is Aries married to Pisces .

    These are 8 world-downfall constellations .

The other 4 world-downfall constellations are Lot , Scorpio , married to
Sagittarius and his both daughters being Capricornus and Aquarius .

    This makes 12 Weltuntergangs-Sternzeichen : 8 Water plus 4 Fire .
Mk 10:18 What do you call me a good master, no-one is good .

Does the US-American constitution mentiones the American Indians as "cruelsome" ?

The Old Testament mentiones the tribesof the Simeons and Levites as "cruelsome" , too .

Kudos, this is without doubt the most retarded thread I've ever seen on Skadi. And considering some of the recent discussions, that's up against some pretty stiff competition.

I'm frankly ashamed we're of the same tribe if you believe something like that. And by tribe I mean Swabians, not some Hebrew tribe.
