It wasn't exactly straightforward because the tooth was very close to a nerve and fused into the jawbone, according to the x-rays the dentist showed me. He said I should really have it done at the hospital under general anaesthetic but he was prepared to 'give it a try', so I just trusted to luck

Anyway, he managed to yank it out somehow but the last 9 days have been extremely uncomfortable, I can tell you!
You are most welcome! But your case sounded complicated (ouch!), and I really hope the discomfort subsides.

Grin Originating of the word 'Wisdom Tooth'

I have had my "Wisdom" Teeth since between the age of 14 to 20 ,
probably not earlier -- I can not remember .

They never caused any trouble at all .

I am missing one lower jaw left due to eating hard "ecological" food ,
as I am missing 7 or 8 teeth already .

To me these additional teeth are natural ,
and having problems with anything health related ,
is caused by wrong external circumstances .

Makes one wonder , why they are called Wise or Sage's teeth ...?

What is Wisdom compared to Intelligence ?

Do people with a Sage's Tooth know the horrible future ?

Why are they not called First Backteeth ?

Why is there a fear of Wisdom or Wisdom Teeth ?
Because there are so few people moaning everywhere about
    their First Backteeth ?
Mk 10:18 What do you call me a good master, no-one is good .

Probably he earns some money with immigrants , and is completely fine
with the ongoing population replacement .

So he intuitively may have done his best , to legally fight an enemy of his ideology ...
