Were they able to be more specific about your regions? For example I had 68% England, Wales & Northwest Europe but they weren't able to pinpoint it to a more specific area, e.g Wales & the West Midlands or Southern England. What about your European Migrations?

For "England, Wales & Northwestern Europe" they pinpointed it to "England, Scotland, Wales". Nothing more specific. I didn't see anything listed "European Migrations".

I had mine done with 23 and me for both Ancestry and Health.
Its probably the same with all of them, they are good at getting your raw data, but you then have to go elsewhere to get full results.
As an example, 23 and me only reported on 9 health issues, only one of which I had. Turns out the FDA had at one stage completely stopped them but now allows then just 9.
So I discovered there is a complete DNA database who will analise your RAW Data for just a few dollars, its very easy to do, I got back a report on 300 + health issues.
Like wise with ancestry, I was informed I had 30% Eastern European, but 0% DNA of all the listed East European countries. I suggested to them the reason might be that they don't even acknowledge the existence of the country of Prussia, as you get a drop down menu to chose from, you cannot even enter that that is where your ancestors came from, hence the reason they will never be able to assign Prussian Genes.
So I sent my raw data to LM Genetics where they were able to give me a much more detailed description of my ancestry, actually assigning much of my DNA to Prussia.
Another free one to send your Raw data to is Gedmatch.

Part of this depends on the test you order and it also depends on how advanced the database is of the people running the test. I got my stuff tested in 2013 and over time it's gotten more accurate. It's been grossly overstating my British/Irish ancestry and understating my German. It still does but not as much. The estimates they give seem to be slowly correcting over time.

One of my current estimates looks like this:

I'm actually 75% (southern) German but previously that estimate on that site was about 32% German. My mother's family trace their source to Baden-Wurttemberg, so that would rationally be predominant as the chart shows.

I find this odd. Mind you, I don't know much at all about genetics, but I can't imagine an ethnicity showing up as a distinct group made up of people who lived in an area for about 200 years. My mother was 100% Danube Swabian but my DNA shows the old Swabian realm of southern Germany such as the map on my above post.
