Why is Paganism Booming in Europe and Beyond? - Masaman

Although the word "Commando" was wrongly used to describe all Boer soldiers, a commando was a unit formed from a particular district. None of the units was organized in regular companies, battalions or squadrons. The Boer commandos were individualists who were difficult to control, resented formal discipline or orders, and earned a British jibe that"every Boer was his own general".

I struggled to understand the narrator. He is speaking so fast that my brain could not process what he was saying. Why was he in such a hurry?

He also seems to confuse the terms 'occultist' and 'heathen/pagan'. Occultism is NOT heathenism or paganism so I am going to have to give this video 5/10.

Much better videos on the subject can be found on the Youtube channel of Survive the Jive who follows my Celto-Germanic Culture, Myth and History blog. He is an academic and a far superior narrator.

I wasn't a fan of this video. He usually puts out decent video's but I don't agree with his repeated connection of occultism to Heathenry.

"Occultism" indeed has nought to do with our traditional Heathenry. Just looking at all the current Satanism, witchcraft, etc it's obvious that it's nearly all jewish. Thus, the modern alternative religious scene reflects jewish values, i.e. bizzare sexual rites, freakish "art", etc. But, still, our enemies will use Semetic occultism to paint us as evil, when it's their own kind doing these things.

It's funny how Wiccanism was given front page coverage within the same year that the second World War ended...

Witchcraft was a traditional thing in Northern Europe pre-Christianity, but what I've seen today in those circles doesn't inspire me to look deeply into it. It's definitely a made-up hodge-podge of occultist rubbish now.

Herbalism was a huge part of what Christians demonised as witchcraft, before medicine was standardised. There is a growing body of evidence some of that had genuine healing properties, that I'm all for reviving within Heathenry. Useful skills in the wilds to know which herbs/plants could help with illness/injuries.

I think this video is pretty good. Seidr could be a way into Heathenry for women.

    Wildly off-topic, I know.

Unfortunately, I see no way for a return to Heathenry for the great mass of our Folk. Individuals, yes, but the masses will never stop being afraid of eternal punishment. The best to be hoped for is a Christianity with most jewish qualities removed, and replaced with healthy Pagan values. This will have to be through the backdoor as any hint of change will trigger fears of hell, damnation and the wrath of the jew god. It will take a loooong time for the mass of Whites to reconnect with the Ancestors and our Gods.

Occultism can exist in any religion. It does in Christianity, Judaism, Islam and many other religions as well.
