Mens guide to drinking Whiskey or Whisky

I have several favorites, Bourbon is my spirit of choice.

    What is your favorite?
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.

I'm not big on it, but Jameson neat works. Or Famous Grouse with poison (Coca cola).

I'm not much of a Whiskey drinker, but I've been known to keep a bottle of 18 YO Glenfiddich around and a bottle of Jim Beam or Jack Daniels when company visits.

I'm mostly a beer drinker. Real beer, not the crap made in the US.
American by birth, made of parts from Emmingen, Baden-Württemberg.

My true beverage of coarse is coffee and water.

In whiskey I like bourbons in this order:

Woodford Reserve- this is the standard in my house and also the mark which others are compared.

Four Roses-a good one that is smooth and time honored.

Wild Turkey- This is "party likur" in some circles it is known as "kicken chicken" it was above 50% AVB when most were at 40%.

Rock Hill Farms- a bit pricey but worth it, this one you keep around for something special.

there are others of course, but these are my favorites, and surprisingly and by accident I live within 12 miles of all of these.
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.
